OK so what is taking him so long to pick an opponent in your opinion? Now is it a money issue "why not make the Juan fight" .. Cotto is out the picture,he wont negotiate with Floyd,he does not want to fight Bradley "cause he says he already beat him decisively" so that ONLY leaves Juan right?? However if he fights Juan and looks average that can really put the nail in the coffin for excitement for a Floyd match. I know the Juan fight was reported to go down, but was that ever confirmed by Pac camp as of 9/5 ,don't think it was yet, correct me if I'm wrong though
still no actual confirmation...he will fight marquez a 5th time most likely after this. It won't be as big as the 3rd.
I think something's up between him and Arum. If I had to guess, I'd say Pac wants the PBF bout to be made and Uncle Bob is still trying to delay it until the stadium gets built or the big Macau offer comes in or the Dubai offer arrives or......etc.
He should take some time off and try to negotiate a fight with Floyd for the spring. If they can't come to terms then the other fighters can still be there.
Cotto drop Austin Trout i don't think the contract is signed yet and let's fight Pac at 154 oh no wait he is RELUCTANT to fight at 154
Sounds like Marquez is demanding a much bigger purse than III. The details will be ironed out by week's end.
going to be a dreamer here: I think theyre trying to get something set up for pac vs floyd. The whole marquez thing is a smoke screen. Thats why floyd recently praised pac, to increase credibility if fight goes down..... And i woke up
I believe it's Bob that is putting most on hold, I can almost bet that pac wants Bradley again but Bob now is going to ride on Bradley then in future he'll talk a lot of **** about Pac as he do with De La Hoya, Mayweather , and now Cotto
I think you're right! Pacquiao knows he cant beat Marquez. Cotto wont fight under 154 lbs and he wont allow Arum and Pacquiao to dry hump him financially. Then with Bradley, the PPV buys for the first fight has got to have been atrocious or the rematch would have been signed by now. I'm certain Arum is'nt able to guarantee Pacquiao the money he got for the first fight. Thus Pacquiao's pickle!
