Pac's skills underrated?

yeah! mostly by the non-believers or haters!

 

hmm says... I voted for "amateur" for shiets and giggles cause if fighters are getting whooped by an amateur, what does that make them?

 

Yes,I'd say they are underrated,he has developed both hand attacks,his lateral movement is awesome,he stays in the gameplan,his combinations are a blazing combination of speed and power,good jab,head movement,etc.His skills are underrated yes.

 

I think people still underestimate his physical skills, especially hand and overall body speed. I know diaz not an elite level fighter but that fight showed greater skills than both hatton and de la hoya fights. Look at the slow mo replays. Pacquiao used intelligent grappling, turns the opponent head, doubles and even triples up on hooks and uppercuts, even works well with his back against the rope.

Another thing people overlook is pacquiaos 'quickness' that is his ability to see shots coming and his reaction times. This is an area which i think he has vastly improved in.

 

He has different skills than the ones that people here seem to value, and thus his skills are underrated by those people. I don't think the majority underrates him, but a very loud minority does (and another smaller minority overrates his skills, but since Hatton's win, the haters have been much more vocal than the *******s).

 

yes he had very good skills, his right hook improved alot, defense still aint great though

It is only on ESB that the minority barks so loud. In other forums in the internet Pacman is much highly appreciated at a ratio of 8 is to two...

 

as i used to say, i can count in the fingers of my two hands all the pac haters here in ESB but because they are the loud ones and probably due to double or triple handles, they seem like many. some pac haters are even converted after seeing how easy he dispatched hatton.

some still hate pac by making threads that put him against duran, paul williams, etc, where they already knew the answer to their question but had to make the thread to satisfy their desire to see pac lose even in just their fantasy world.

 

yea i think casamayors defence is better but at 37 its not what it used to be

If ask me, his skills are over-rated. He can fight a brawler, but, it is yet to be seen if he can fight a thinking fighter like Floyd, or, Guzman.
