I don't know about that 100%. He uses his speed and power brilliantly. Mayweather will test him that department, for sure.:good

No. He can get reckless at times and isn't all that sound defensively (he relies more on movement). Definitely not amateurish, but his skills aren't underrated, people know he's improved a lot but he is no technician.

    Never gets old.

For all the guys here who wanna see Manny's most important fights in his younger years, here's the top 3, in my opinion..

    vs. Chokchai 3K BAttery 1997
    vs Chachai Sasakul 1998
    vs Lehlo Ledwaba 2001

    Great memories.

I feel the same way. His defense has improved, though.

So do I, I feel his defense is more centered on his fast footwork. He's either moving to the side or back for defense or moving forward for offense. He just keeps on moving. He rarely fights against the ropes coz he doesn't have the shell like defense of other fighters (like mayweather), instead he moves away or uses his strong legs to push fighters back (like he did against hatton). That coupled with strong basics in defense (decent head movement and always keeping his hands up)

He's most open when he's on the offensive but his speed, the strange angles of his punches (like his no-look punches, lol) and his volume of punch combos leave small windows for counter punches which it seems only real masters like JMM and possibly mayweather could succesfully exploit. After which he moves back or to the side, making it harder to tag him since he isn't there anymore.

Offense wise, i don't think anyone is underrrating his skills because he just has one of the best offenses in the sport. Defense wise, I think many people hate on his skills coz it's pretty basic stuff, but it works perfectly for Pac since it complements his offense (i.e. his movement also gives him the proper distance to set up his offense since he isn't at his best fighting on the inside).
