Mayweather. Also, I'm not blaming him for fighting those guys since aside from Mayweather there really is no one else he could have fought. But it is what it is the only time he's fought a boxer/counterpuncher since moving to WW is Marquez.

mosley lost all rounds and after getting knocked down in the 3rd avoided confrentation .. but he was shot to **** and should never have been picked in the first place. they counted on marquez's age and the fact he dident look good the last time he went to 147 to give the illusion that pacquiao has improved by ko'ing or easily defeating hes rival marquez.
marquez put in a world class effort and came out (i thought) on top

i give manny credit for margo simply because without plaster or being prime he still had TREMENDOUS power and he hurt pacquiao with that body attack but i think pacquiao put on an amazing performance fighting the bigger man off (and that fight is one of my favs of pacquiaos)

hatton was stylistically screwed when it came to pacquiao... YOU DONT BRAWL WITH MANNY! people can argue hes a terrible boxer , hes one dimensional etc etc but you cant deny hes power

cotto was a good fight and id be interested to see them fight again after cotto seems to have breathed some life back into hes career with an amazing performance against margo, if he tries to outbox pacquiao i could def see him winning (but it would be close like the marquez fight and he would most likely get robbed)

pacquiao has improved but hes success has been manifactured by bob arums match making and position of power

Mayweather doesn't fight like Marquez. Your making a generalization. Just bc Marquez gives him problems doesn't mean every counter puncher would beat him.

And if your saying Pac only looks good against punching bags, since when was Cotto / Clottey / Hoya /Hatton considered punching bags until Pac met them? I seem to remember Cotto fighting on the backfoot and still getting destroyed.

I agree that Pac has more issues with defensive opponents, but most fighters aren't purely defensive anyway, and it's generalization to begin with. Marquez is the only guy who's consistently given him problems, and Pac has fought and beat some very good / elite level boxers, i.e. Barrera , Cotto , Morales.

He is a beast. He's just not a thinking fighter on the level of a Marquez or Mayweather, IMO.

well said, i agree these boxers think just cuz hes small that he cant hurt them. trying to rush and straight up brawl with manny is just as bad as trying to outbox floyd. u notice in the later rounds when cotto started boxing he was frustrating manny. i still he would lose again tho. Cotto has shitty stamina so he cant run forever on top of that manny is faster and definately nothing like margararito.

No Judah is a glass hearted fool and could never beat anyone good. Why are you even bringing up someone so insignificant. Mayweather >>Marquez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Judah, so your poiint about him isn't valid.
And Again I never said that dlh hatton cotto (I don't know why u bring up Clotttey since that was a joke of a fight) were punching bags but they are more aggresive fighters and less technically sound than Marquez or Mayweather (DLH was clearly past it anyways).

No doubt pacquiao is a great fighter, but it's really frustrating reading people insist that he's past his prime. It's giving no credit to Marquez and I'm sure that should floyd - manny fight and floyd win he will also recieve 0 credit.

Pac is good enough to scare Void to death! Void has avoided Pac for years now and always will find an excuse to run. Void is void. Void is a woman beater. What kind of a man beats women?

Needles are good enough to scare Roid to death! Roid has avoided testing for years now and always will find an excuse to juice. Roid is Roid. Roid is a PED addict. What kind of a man abuses PEDs?

Yet Judah gave Floyd a competitive fight and actually outboxed him for several rounds.

When did I say Pac is past his prime? I said he's slowed down, and that's blatantly obvious. I'm not trying to take to credit away from Marquez. I think Marquez - Pac would play out the same way at any time. He just has Pac's number. I just dont think that it indicates some kind of flaw that pac has against skilled boxers. He's beaten and dominate highly skilled boxers. Barrera is an elite level boxer, right up there with Marquez. I'm sure you know who Morales is too. Nobody was saying Cotto / Hatton / Hoya were 'made' for Pac before he fought them. They just wanna take credit away from Pac after the fact.

So then Make the Bradley fight. Bradley doesn't have anything scheduled, will have no problems taking a smaller purse, will not ask for OSDT, he is also a TR fighter and he has aksed for a fight with Pacquiao....TWICE!

    So whats the Problem?
