Pac covers up and moves his head really well when he's under pressure and backed up. And he recovers really quicky too. That actually ended up being a close round that could go either way.

Yeah, I've noticed that Pac uses the ropes well in order to slip and weave through punches. The end of that Larios flurry missed (Pac showed some recovery there because that was looking really bad for Pac), Pac made JMM completely miss a flurry in round 4 of the second fight (1:17 mark) from off the ropes, same against De La Hoya (IIRC Round 2).

45 degree uppercut that JMM hit em with in the 2nd fight that buckled his legs. He always seems to land that punch against him. Jmm favorite punch after his 1-2, knocked out Diaz with it.

1)he fights squarer than a lot of southpaws so its easier to jab against him than other southpaws.
2)he has a tendency to lower his left inside and when he throws his right jab so he's susceptible to overhand rights
3)he tries to catch jabs too much so when you feint the jab you can come straight down the middle with a right hand
4)doesnt defend body shots all that well morales set most of his work up with straight rights to the body
    5)lunges with his jab

I think he struggles aginst a very good technician, as Marquez has showed. Sure he has improved since those fights but against a Mayweather I believe he would lose.

Lack of a jab perhaps the biggest
Comes in wild off balanced with head down
    Lacks inside fighting
    Can't fight backing up
    Somewhat predictable
    Weak to the body
These weaknesses can really be exploited by elite fighters like JMM and give him hell but a guy like PBF who is a complete fighter will beat Pac because of them. You can't beat a guy like PBF without a jab come in wild and can't fight on the indside. He'll pick you apart and make you pay every time.:deal
