Counter punchers give him fits. He also punches with his head down. He likes to swing and duck when throwing the overhand right.

The last 10 opponents knows PAC weaknesses! All of them failed!

Lesson - knowing about your opponenets weaknesses is sometimes different from doing something about it on the actual fight!

At the moment i think pacquiao really only has one major weakness but even that is being rapidly improved. 'Adaptability'. That is changing his gameplan mid fight or even mid round. Marquez has this quality, so does mayweather. Pacquiao has prepared gameplans by freddie roach.

However the hatton fight showed incredible ring smarts by pacquiao. He let hatton worry about the right hook all of the first round and then koed him with the power hand.

It is a weakness especially when you're going aginst an elite defensive counter-puncher like PBF. You must have a good jab to keep him honest otherwise he'll just pick you apart.:deal You show your lack of boxing knowledge by saying he doesn't need a good jab, educate yourself before saying such stupid ****. He can get away without one when he's facing guys who are there to be hit with slow hands but he's facing an elite defensive counter-puncher and without one he's ****ed! ******* you'll learn this if the two ever meet and I'll be right here saying I told you so.:yep

Mate your post about the jab is absolute bull****, the jab is the most important punch in boxing, it sets combinations also ODLH nearly beat Mayweather with it. Its true about the fact he has 2 wins over Marquez now I havent seen their first fight but I along with other people believe Marquez should of got the decision the last time, I believe the fact Manny scored a knockdown was how he got the win.

He rushes in while throwing that straight left....trying to sucker punch someone.
He is vulnerable to the jab.
He leaves himself open to the left body hook.
He leaves himsefl open while mixing it up in the inside.
His head movement is predictable....kind of like the headbob dolls on dashboards.

More importantly he doesn't gaurd his nutsack !!!!!

If there's one thing Pac doesn't do its bounce in and out in straight lines. He is constantly turning his opponents

Pacquiao has plenty of weaknesses, every boxer does.

He drops his left hand when he throws his right.

He'll hang his chin in the air when attacking, which made the showy counters of Marquez look very strong.

He can be flustered when hit.

    His offense is often predictable.

Not that anything but an absolutely top class operator can hope to exploit is in that column. Against B and below, Pac is all but invincible. It takes an operator of Marquez's level to seize advantage of Pac's mistakes, and that is saying a whole helluva lot. The guy is amazing.

he doesn't need to. i would say his chin would be the only thing close to a weakness the guy's got. his chin is good too, i'm speaking more in the sense that he's about to fight cotto and his chin hasn't been tested at lightweight, much less WW against a strong, solid puncher.
