Pac's win over Oscar should be stricken from the records

Someone is saying it should be stricken from the records. That person is the thread-starter. And that's why people are responding to that opinion on this thread.

 

After Cotto beatdown that win over Hoya should be more legit. That version of Hoya would still give Mayweather fits but was no match for Pac.

The weight drained part was not forseeable. However everyone picked de la hoya to win past prime, so ya I think Pac is owed some credit for this win. Could one say it's his best win, no, but one can clearly see this set up all the future fights he had afterwards with the likes of Hatton and Cotto where he looked terrifyingly good.

 

Any fighter that Manny beats seems to be a "Lucky" win or a Win with an asterik (*)......Its fine if you saw PAC winning.....but 95% of the entire boxing public were fooled....me included. PAC dominated and I didn't see that coming.

In hindsight......>DLH did NOT do as bad as once thought. Just look at Hatton.....2 rounds with PAC....Cotto...at best that fight should have been stopped in round 9! DLH lasted one round less than Cotto and 6 rounds more than Ricky.

Not that bad all things considering. when you fight PAC.....THIS form of PAC it's most likely going to be onesided.....as was the case with DLH, Ricky and Cotto.

People who didn't buy the DLH PAC fight didn't buy the fight b/c they thought it was a mismatch......and it was.....but they got the wrong guy winning! They thoguht DLH was a jerk for picking on a smaller guy like PAC and taking advantage of him.:rofl Of course you on the other hand didn't buy the fight b/c you knew PAC was going to dominate.:yep

I do think that the last 2 fights have really put things into prospective. He made Cotto and Hatton look just as bad. While Oscar was over the hill he was no more over the hill then when he fought Floyd. You can be over the hill and still fight well based on guile like Hopkins does but Pacquiao is just too good.

 

Oh Yeah, you're not taking away from Manny's other wins but you find it fair to Manny to have one of his win stricken from his records after he prepared too hard for that fight!:huh

 

Uliuli predicted that oscar was gonna destroy pac... that's all that matters.
