Boxrec claims McGee knocked him out in the 2nd round, yet this claims the ref gave a bad stoppage to Duffy in the 8th... This source, despite happening after the McGee fight, states he's unbeaten in 44 fights. Getting too many mixed signals here lol, at the very least, I'd say CBZ probably has a better account of his record that Boxrec
I think you're mixing up the fight accounts, the Duffy one is at the begining, and does say Duffy got KOed. The Sullivan-Collins fight was the one stopped in the 8th. (That fight isn't on boxrec at all actually) I've seen this sort of thing quite often, it would have been hard to find the records of these guys at the time, so I kinda expect there to be omissions in the stated records.
Tug Collins only has two fights on boxrec, one with Paddy Duffy.
