me and my trainer just go with the flow and whatever he says we dont have a set series of combinations we jsut do what you would do in a fight mixed in with abit of fitness with like 10 punchs straight then again and a tiny bit of finishing in the corner just start with the basics and add stuff on E.G jab double jab double jab right hand double jab right hand left hook double jab right hand left hook right uppercut
At mycurrent gym we dont really do set combos. We just basicly call what we want them to throw. At my old gym though we did a few pad sessions a couple times a night and had a few set combos. jab double jab 1-jab, straight 2-jab, straight, hook 3-jab, straight, hook, uppercut 4-jab, straight, hook, straight 5-straight, hook, straight, hook We would either just say, jab, double jab, or a number 1-5 and we all knew what each number was. Then of course who ever is holding the pads would counter after each combo.
I practice Thai Boxing like you do we practice alot of long combos at my gym you know something like a single jab,1-2 then hook,4 skip knees from the full clinch then push off and a nice roundhouse kick. Or even stuff like 1 roundhouse kick followed by 2 straight then reset then do 3 straight then reset then 4 reset then 5. **** is brutal but effective.
