As for Dawson - who the h*ll died and made him a star??? - Only thing reason Dawson is even mentioned is because he is american. His record is close to crap - he has one win - over the pretty overrated Adamek - that's it! Let him prove himself before mentioning him along side a champ like Calzaghe.

As for the location of the fight - we agree - although it's close to legacy suicide for Calzaghe. If he beats Kessler, then he is still "stay at home Joe" to many.

Boy are some of the posters here going to look like fools if this comes through and Kessler fights in the UK for 5M $ :smoke

In the last two years Calzaghe has only been able to stop reality-star Manfredo. Sakio Bika, Jeff Lacy and Evans Ashira all went the full distance. Ok some with a little more trouble than the other.
But I can’t see Calzaghe stopping Kessler – so it must go to the scorecards?! I'll say Kessler by UD or Kessler by late stoppage. :deal

If the fight is to be in the UK, then Kessler will get 5M $ - that a pretty good price if you ask me.

As for backing up his 5M offer - there was no problems at all doing that - Palm (not Palle) had garanteed the amount - and he is more than good for it. As for selling tickets - Kessler got 20.000 to pay when he was facing Andrade with a ****ty undercard - Calzaghe has only once drawn more than that - and I'm very sure Kessler-Calzaghe would have filled the "Parken" (40.000).

Will you be eating some crow - if the final deal will be that Kessler gets a 5M purse??? - or do your usual thing when proven wrong - and just ignore it...

As when I pointed out that Kessler is Calzaghe's only liable option atm - hence the big paycheck for Kessler.

Don't worry - we have Larsen back - so should Kessler lose, then Calzaghe will be ducking Larsen :hey

I see that you are new so I'll give you an advice, ignore Blocky, he is simply a waste of your time. If you stay on the board you'll soon realise this yourself.

:-( i'd still want to see Bute go for it...and so would he - even though he doesn't overestimate himself nor does he underestimate Calzaghe and Kessler either, and still...!:happy
