kessler has earned very well in europe

but just like hatton, kessler might be forced out of his homeland by an accromonious split from his promoter.

the only super middle fight in america that makes kessler the money he is used to is taylor.

possibly down the road ward will be a big fight.

but kessler got paid XXXXXXXX against the likes of haussler, i forget the figure but it was impressive.

i just do not think there is that much for kessler in america outside of taylor.

look at team taylor the other day saying we have to wait 6 months from our last fight to fit in a HBO slot.

if kessler came to america how long would he have to wait for a HBO slot ?

that simply does not happen in europe.

my own preference is a taylor v kessler fight in america , just team taylor do not seem to talk about it.

Well, I'd prefer a unification fight or a fight against Taylor. But these fights won't happen.
So we have the choice between Larsen in spring/summer and (likely) Perdomo in automn/winter or Johnson now and (maybe) a big American opponent in Kessler's next fight.
Johnson is the entrance card to the American market. The win against Adamek didn't help Dawson much, the win against Johnson did.

I agree. But a Taylor fight would be MUCH bigger if he beat an American in American before this fight. Taylor would get the lion's share of the purse.

    *Sigh*
It's incredible that people are still misinformed on the Miranda situation...
EVERYTIME someone needs to beat on Kessler, the old "he ducked Miranda"-story pops up again...:patsch

What's sad is the intellectual shortcut they use. He can't be elite or whatever because he ducked Miranda. I'd say 8 years old mental age.

Well, that is the POINT of actually having the fights. Now we find that Kessler has been more willing than Palle. Hats off to Kessler.:thumbsup

Glen Johnson is still a tricky fight for anyone... That's Dawson and Glen J crossed off now.

If Kessler beats Glen J. convincingly, then it'll make him a REAL star throughout the world. Take it Mikkel!
