Most of the Danish fighters seem to be kept in Denmark fighting against stiffs or former champions/contenders well past their prime. The thing is that I'm starting to wonder whether or not they have been voluntarily doing so. It's not until the end of their careers or until after they have exceeded forty some odd fights that they finally get to venture out and face a live body. Damgaard didn't get to face Gatti until he was older, Larsen finally got to face Ottke, and Nielsen got Tyson towards the end of his career. I wonder if signing with Palle is like a young musician signing away his recording career to a major label that will squander their true talents.

Kessler's been able to go to Australia to fight Mundine and Wales to fight Calzaghe so Palle's been a bit more of a risk-taker with him but for the most part, his career has been sabotaged. Mikkel Kessler is a hell of a fighter so it would be an absolute shame if his career got tied up in court with that piece of garbage Palle.

Do you have a source for "Palle admits.."? I always thought that scumbag Palle might be set on something else than bringing Kessler to fight in the US. Has Palle indeed been working on the Larsen fight it goes right against the wishes of Mikkel. If true, Palle sure looks like a idiot.

it was in several papers and on text tv. palle said, the he had done a lot for mikkel, so now he thought, that mikkel should give something back and help palle, in fulfilling his ambition/dream, which apparently is a kessler-larsen fight..

but luckily team sauerland claims, that palle rejected their proposed offer..
apparently palle didnt want to pay, what sauerland and larsen were demanding..

So, Larsen-Bute should be announced soon. Logical since the agreement yesterday between Sauerland and Golden Boy (they scratched the purse bid for the Andrade-Tsypko fight). Today, we'll know if there will be a Taylo-Froch. That leaves Kessler against ???

thats a really good question.. if taylor - froch doesnt work out, perhaps one them..

i cant see palle doing kessler-larsen, when kessler doesnt want to.. futhermore, with sauerland still having bute lined up, to fight larsen, they arent going to give palle any leeway moneywise, in their negotiations.. that just make it seem unlikely..

I think they delayed the purse bid on that one. I've thought all along, if that goes to bid, the fight is off. Taylor won't fight for the short stack. I really would prefer Kessler/Taylor.

They could at least launch some press release for the boxing fans to know what is happening.

Sad thing is we have perhaps now learned that while Kessler was trying to make fights, Palle was off on his own agenda. This puts Kessler/Anybodywithapulse in danger. :-(
