Unfortunately, this could spell the end of Mikkel's career at the very highest level.:|:scaredas::|:scaredas::|
I don´t know what to say anymore...it´s really sad for Kessler right now. Mogens agenda seems to be ****ing up kesslers career... Palle should do just one good thing in he´s life: let kessler go,after the next fight!
Are people going to ****ing start to realize that Kessler was being held back by this douche bag. It was not his choice to fight the limited opposition he has up to this point! I mean god damn what does this guys need to do to get respect? The man clearly wants to be a marquee figure in boxing, yet theres douche bags among us that say he's a **** for not chasing these fights! It's pretty clear, even before it escalating to this that Kessler was trying to do everything in his power to make it to the big time. I hope he doesn't end up having to honor that no fight clause for X amount of time. This guy is class and deserves better then what he is getting!
I said this right after the JC fight but will repeat it: Kessler's biggest problems are his loyalty and naivete. In normal, private life those are welcome and being cherished but in professional sports it's the biggest failure you can have regarding your manager and promotional outlet. One has always be cautious and scrutinize every step his business "friends". Sorry, but Kessler was always a blind follower to the Palle's and found out too late that he has another choice...
I am not really disputing the fact that he was wrong, but moreso the fact that people actually thought he was ducking fighters and unwilling to fight in America. If anything this whole issue just illustrates how frustrated he has become at having no say as to who he is fighing, so ya he may be wrong, but god damn as a boxing fan I hope he ends finding a loop hole.
I think that Kessler has two reasonable options he can work on: 1) Let his lawyers fight their arse off to prove in court that Team Palle has options for one more fight only and not three!!! 2) Just pay Palle whatever he wants to let him go. Kessler earned good money off the Calzaghe fight. Take some of that and give Palle. Result: Palle is happy and boxing fans can start watching Kessler fight again. :good
today there has been numerous articles, which has touched the subject of this dispute.. there seems to be some differences, when it comes to the number of options palle has.. camp kessler says 1, as they believe that the hausler fight counts for 1, and the missed fight against larsen, also counts for 1.. this, according to kessler, leaves palle with ONLY 1 more fight. camp-cocksucker is of the opinion, that they have still have 3 options.. one positive note is, that kessler apparently is a member of, a union for athletes. the union will assist him in his case. The main man of the union, a guy called mads oeland, is known for being vocal, when such a case comes his way. kessler isnt the sort of guy, who screams from the rooftops, when trying to make a poitn or spin a story through the media, but this guy is exactly that.
Don't blame Palle to hard. It takes two to tango and no yank star wanted a piece of Mikkel. Palle even offered Hopkins 4 million dollars but was turned down. Honestly. Do you really believe Kessler will get big fights if his manager is the inexperienced ex-con Simon Lundt? Thought so.
Sauerland cannot get pavlik for Abraham even thoug Abraham likely brings more money to the table than Kessler. By signing with Universum or Sauerland he might get AA but it will not automatically lead to a yank star.
