Palle - We want HBO to put pressure on Hopkins

    Just read this in the Danish news. Everyone knows Palle isn´t the most trustworthy guy in boxing, but what we do know is that HBO is interested in televising fights with Kessler. What are the chances of this fight getting made?
    Personally I don´t see the reason for Kessler to take this fight other than gaining respect from the US audience. I think he should stay at 168, fight Taylor who hopefully beats Lacy and unify the belts at SMW, rather than figthing Bhop at a catchweight. I see better ways for Kessler right now than fighting Hopkins. Thoughts?

    you don't want him to fight B-Hop because you know he would lose don't you

    yeah i dont think he could fight hopkins if he wanted to but i do think he would beat him becasue i dont think hopkins is up for the risk and right now only wants money fights so kessler should just go out here and unify the titles at SMW

    Haha, you don´t want to miss out on an oportunity like this one do you? :yep

    I want Kessler to fight the best. If he ends up losing, so be it. I admire Kessler for his courage though. He´ll fight anyone anywhere.

    i think Taylor is a better fight for him, even if he beats Hop and i think he would, Bernard would just make the fight look ugly, making it even harder to break through...

    Taylor beat hop and im sure he'll look good against Lacy, soa fight between the 2 is obvious.

    I don't understand how you see no reason for Kessler to take this fight against Hopkins? Hopkins may be past his prime but he is still a top5 p4p fighter and a great notch on anyone's record.

    Esp. coming off his destruction over Pavlik, Kessler might actually be given a chance to upset the odds in this one.

    I´m not really sure what to think. But I respect Kessler more and more. He is not into that boxing politics bullocks. He just want to fight:bbb

    I think he should sort out SMW first there are a number of fights for him there, Taylor/ Lacy winner, Bute, Froch etc. SMW is one of the best divisions right now, he should sort that out then go up to LHW. Also why fight B Hop? Anyone that does beat him still looks ****.

    After the lesson Hopkins gave to Pavlik, props to Kessler for wanting Hopkins. The only problem i have with that fight is that, as a boxing fan, i don't like to fall asleep watching a fight. Thanks to Hopkins..

    bless all the mikkel fans who actually think kessler has any negotiating weight or any weight behind getting a fight with hopkins his last two fights were against complete cans and his resume is littered with average fighters and a loss to calzaghe
    as for the fight..wait and see what kessler does when its round 3 and his jab is landing air and his right hand is gone

    They're absolutely nothing for hopkins to gain fighting kessler .. Why ?
    I can think of 4 reason why Hopkins shouldn't fight kessler.
    1.There no money in the fight ..
    2.Unlike Pavlic ,Kessler has already been beaten , by Joe.
    3.No one out side the boxing world really knows Kessler .
    4.Kessler does nothing for Hopkins over all resume.

    The only reason Hopkins should fight Kessler is for the money and lots of it.
