This is why GBP and Canelo will wait until Golovkin looks like an old man. Canelo is no power puncher and he has too much stamina problems to keep the defense going for 36 minutes without getting hit flush. He might as well just fight a few guys and move up to 160 to adjust and test his strength and breath.

You never noticed him riding the ropes like a cowboy in the Kirkland fight? He looked tired in the Mayweather fight for sure, and his punches got weaker in the Cotto fight. Mayweather almost knocked out Cotto and Canelo had nothing for him at a higher weight (over 154) and had no power to fade Cotto. In the Kirkland fight his defense faded with his stamina. Look at how a one dimensional Kirkland began giving Canelo problems. How did he learn anything from the Floyd fight if James can hit him? GGG is far too experienced not to land bombs during his defensive lapses. This content is protected Now look at pure boxer Cotto get off on Canelo and he is the smaller man. This content is protected Canelo is a gas machine because he is draining energy trying to fight at light middle. It's time for 160 or just quit boxing.
