Palomino outworks him for a few rounds, but Starling's pinpoint punching busts him up for a late round TKO.
These two for me are extremely evenly matched. Two extremely good practitioners a couple of rungs below great. Best for best it's a split decision governed by the choice of judges. Over a three fight series in the real world Palomino might win two due to Starling being a touch inconsistent at times.
I’m going with Carlos. Starling was hell to hit but not a high-volume guy and often a reluctant one. But Palomino would pound the body to take enough rounds to win a decision.
I like this fight. A tough guy vs a boxer with a peak o boo defense. Love them both. I kinda like starling to win a close decision but it would just that.... close
That he did Goo. It was at it's worst in the first Curry fight (his first loss) i think. Did it slow down a little after that? Trying to remember.
I remember him fighting Breland, Honeyghan and possibly a few others where he stuck his tongue out and did other theatrics. Starling was a nice guy with a good sense of humor but at times he got careless too.
