I remember seeing him back in the day an thought he could have been the next star, speed, power, fast sharp reflexes, he had it. After he lost to Jesse james he didnt care. Too much talent to just walk away http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tzp6uL2O5E
Pretty big fan when he started...but just couldn't believe some of the stupid hype going around. IMO it clearly went to his head...how couldn't it? "First billion dollar fighter" My lawdy.
Everyone's wondering where he the hell he is. Saw this kid on espn. Was so impress then he just disappeared.
Last I heard, he had a high speed chase in SD resulting in him crashing at the border. He had a meth pipe or something in the car.
The guy could've been a world champion. He had the tools, unfortunately he heard the wrong advise. He probably thinks he's beyond the championship caliber even with just 9 fights. And he relied too much on his power.
one of my favorite fighters back in the day I remember the crop of contenders of Showtime in 2003 Rocky juarez, Ricky Hatton, Juan Diaz, Domique Guinn and Panchito Bojado good times
Yeah I remember the hype about him at the time. He was undoubtedly talented but it just goes to show talent is only a small part in making a world class fighter, talent alone cannot replace hard work and dedication.
I believe a fighter named Rubio popped that cherry, but Bojado won the rematch. Great fight that first one was. Have mercy nerds as I'm on my mobile.
talent without discipline doesn't take you far. im following the steps of Hairon" el maja" Socarras who has all the talent to become a world champ and he is not even 20 yet. So far he looks good and his dedication is there, but at 19 yrs old there are so many distractions.
