Both are top ATGs in their division, with both being staple top 5. However, Villa fought in a more historically deep division, and in a deep era too. My vote goes to him.
Easily Villa. Elorde is flat out overrated. There are plenty of Asian boxers, and even just Filipino boxers with similar or superior bodies of work. Still, he’s always near the top of most lists you’ll see on either.
