Miranda just has terrible defense and he fought a stupid fight I thought the weight would help Miranda but it seems to have served Abraham better. Tremendous power in his punches thats where Abraham impressed me. I was not floored at all by his boxing skill but thats good cause it will force him to mix it up againts better skilled opponents and make it exciting. He is dangerous to anyone if he can land his shots but against a better quality fighter just putting your gloves in a shell will not constitute defense. He is a danger to Kelly but I think because of his height Pvalik will KO Abraham.
This is true. I have also noticed a trend with Columbian fighters- they all have good power but shaky chins.
Miranda had a 5" reach advantage on Abraham.. How much longer is Pavlik's reach? I have a hard time predicting who would win between Abraham vs Pavlik, but I just have this mental picture of Abraham leaping out and catching Pavlik with a hard hook than can hurt him.. I can also see Pavlik winning though.. Also, Abraham can take some damage too.. Miranda landed some nice body shots when he was teeing off against Abraham, but he seemed to take them pretty damn well..
Pantera2000 may never post here again. It took him months to recover after the Pavlik fight. Abraham ****ed him up even worse. God damn, Pantera was knocked out.
well i thought that abraham was also consider an EURO-BUM as you like to call european fighters... but i think you are right with your pavlik-abraham guess.pavlik is a much better boxer than miranda, and he got great power.
On the lighter side... who's the hot chick in your avatar?! I'm a palvic fan but the fight with abraham will be close one. Hard to tell who will win!
A low blow is any blow below the belly Button (navel), Abrahams belt was way below his navel. USTV and US boxing news were lying about the low blows being borderline, any one notice? Miranda throwing low blows and head butting, no excuse for so many. Abraham can to America, into Miranda's back yard, with prejudice judges/crowd and TV crew, yet he stopped him, good think he did because the judges were going to give any decision to Miranda.
Abraham was not operating in Euro-Hype job mode. 1. He came out of his comfy confines to take a challenge. 2. He fought a dangerous opponent 3 he didnt have to take this fight there was no belt involved yet he had something to prove and show the world. 4. No controversy no bull**** straight up impressive KO You guys have it all wrong not every European fighter is a bum. I wrote a piece on the grand shcool of the Euro Hype job. If the bullets I wrote down dont apply the guys not in that school.
I'm still a Pantera fan. He wants to fight the best and his fights are always exciting. The first Miranda vs Abraham fight was questionable in my view and I felt that Abraham was a protected fighter. He has now shown that he's willing to leave his comfort zone and I respect his courage, he's a legit champion.
