Pantera Miranda vs SOG Ward

    Looks like this fight is close to happening in May. I havent seen any of Andre Ward's recent fights (only some Youtube highlights). Ward seems to have good skills. Hopefully it will be an elimination bout for the winner of Talyor vs Froch.

    How do you see this fight going down? Can Ward's chin hold up to Pantera's right hand? Or is Ward skillful and quick enough to counter Miranda all night with combos and wear Miranda down?

    I'm not so sure I like this fight for my boy, especially at 168lbs. Im almost thinking he should look for opportunities at 175lbs. Thoughts?

    Ward will win easily. Yes, if Miranda catches him he could hurt him, but, I think Miranda is done and has been exposed. His chin isn't even holding up any longer.

    Ward by either wide decision or late round stoppage.

    Andre Ward will stop Pantera. Ward is far better than the other Andre. This will be good exposure for him if the fight happens.

    Miranda at this point is just a gatekeeper for prospects/contenders.

    Yep... he was the hottest thing in boxing going into that Pavlik fight. Kelly sure but a stop to that dream! Im still keeping my faith he will make another run.

    Technically speaking, Ward is better than Dirrell.

    I'm not sure this means he will beat him. I think Dirrell hits harder, probably has a better chin and may even be a little quicker.

    The question would be does Ward's technical superiority along with his skills win out over Dirrell's physical gifts.

    Why 175? I don't really follow that division but you have the likes of Chad Dawson. Just easier weight for him? I'm not sold on the depth of 168 as some seem to be. Yeah. Some strong guys at the top, but not enough fights between them to sell me yet.
