I have always thought Berto was a fraud myself... However, despite the fact that I LOOVE his music :) I think that the voice of Pantera falls drastically short on the topic of PBF. To his credit, he uses every bit of arguing that the rest if ESBs Floyd haters use, but it is just hatred. I see that he doesn't like Floyd, but since when do you have to be liked to be a great champion? Through whatever means he got there (a gift decision, a suspect chin, an early retirement), floyd still got to the top and was recognized as the pound for pound champion- as well as #1 in whatever weightclass he fought in at any given time. As boxing fans ,we can only hope that as Floyd leaves the sport, we have other champions who can draw as much attention (not necesarily the TYPE of attention) the floyd drew to the sport, because we don't have many Mike Tyson's, or Roy Jones's or PBF's up and coming in our sport as far as I can see... so I say we give the man his due and credit the sport that we love to watch for putting this man at #1 on all charts.

I´m a huge Pantera fan, seen them 3 times live. One time I went to see them in Germany not that long after Vitali quit against Byrd.. .and Phil was ranting how that pissed him off, he was not a Klitscho fan then and there. Phil is macho as heck, so that didn´t really surprise me... but I´m surprised today how much he likes both of the Klistchko´s(maybe Vitali giving Lennox hell made him change his mind). I´ve read many times how he want´s to do a heavy version of the Ukranian anthem for them to have as an entrance song(he can´t stand that red hot chilli peppers song. Can´t stand rap/rock... he yelled at one concert I went to "I f#($ing hate rap!").

I like reading Phil´s stuff... but he can often be a hypocrite, arrogant, macho redneck. But he´s the same with boxing as with heavy metal.. he´s very into it and has lots of info.

I think its really cool that he likes boxing and knows enough about it to go into that level of detail.

However he is extremely biased. You would think that PBF raped his mother or something the way he bullshits about PBF.

I Never Said Pantera Or Them Were The Greatest. As Far As Heavy Metal Goes They Were Top 3........ You Forgot Randy Rhodes, Jason Becker Etc.

Pantera, Metallica, and Slayer don't really go together that much.
Pantera came after them and is Groove Metal, and generally 90s Metal while Slayer and Metallica are 80s Bay Area Thrash bands, popularity is the similarity. :) Though Pantera's Metal evolved out of Thrash but so did a lot of Metal.

One thing is for certain Metal has really gone downhill since the mid 90's or so.
