Lot's of shame in that loss when you **** talk for 2 years. Humble fighters walk away with dignity **** talkers dont deserve the same amount of respect.
Edison is like Mark McGwire. He sucks, but you keep him in the lineup because he either strikes out or hits a homerun. You never know which one is going to come.
Minus the sucks part, I like the analogy. I wouldn't say he sucks. I would say he's a good gate keeper.
The biggest laugh is the second KD when he fell like a tree, and Abraham was smiling whilst Miranda was looking up like he never tasted something like that ever before :scaredas: :rofl I am watching it over and over as we speak, classic sh!t :happy In all honesty, Miranda deserved to be banged out, all the talk he did for two years
You have to give him credit where it's due, he's a warrior and he makes fights exciting, but his style is crude and if it wasn't for his power we wouldn't know who he is.
Go easy on the guy. I know how Pantera feels right. I felt the same when Joe Calzaghe was wrestled to the floor by Hopkins in the first round. I just couldn't believe Joe Calzaghe could somehow draw a round 9-9 with a 42 year old. It was ok there after though as he went on to win every other round in the fight, whereas Pantera will suffer for as long as Miranda continues boxing world class opponents.
Edison was very cocky, especially during the touch of the gloves. He looked like Mr. Joe Cool in there. He paid for it later.
I completly agree with you. If he was THAT cocky, he would say it was a lucky shot that knock his ass down. The reason he talked **** like that is 1- Because he wanted the rematch, 2- For the show. Don't be hate, appreciate what he brings in the ring. AA is just better.
does he know miranda personally or something? he always seems to know what is going on with him, or stuff about him before anyone knows. maybe it's actually miranda himself :yep
I don't have a problem with Pantera. The guy does his part in building up hype for Miranda, who seems to be a good friend of his, the person hiring him, or both. People either watch to see Edison get a KO or get KO'd, but they watch knowing they'll get their money's worth- and there's always room for fighters like that in boxing. That he lost doesn't matter as much as if he were to go out and change his style to fight extremely boring fights.
