I've only seen the guy fight a once a few years ago..Any information?i know he won the bronze medal..Can he beat any of the top 10 or 15 heavies?
I love this guy. I've seen most his fights. Big, sort of lumbering, not a lot of power, but a solid pro with a big heart. I have an old amateur fight of his from the Goodwill Games where he came in the ring wearing mismatched shoes, trunks, and shirt--looked like a circus clown, and beat the hell out of a cuban for the gold. He never really had enough talent to beat the top guys. His best shot was against Valuev, and he got outboxed despite landing some hard right hands. I think he's pretty much over the hill now and don't see him beating any top guys, although he could hang around Europe and make some money as a gatekeeper.
