The article on the scene says that he's going to stop playing basketball until after the fight. His teammates haven't seen him since the fight was announced.

No way, nooooo way does he do this. He plays basketball as part of conditioning in training, but once the real stuff starts w/ Freddie, all outside activities (including basketball) stops.

If he wouldn't risk playing for his team during Algieri training, he will definitely NOT do it for Mayweather.
