I think its a joke. Are they going to pardon all the other they persecuted and prosecuted under this law? Dont we have bigger problems across the country and across the world for a former presidential candidate to worry about than this obvious political football? Johnson was guilty under the laws of the day. Probably more guilty than the majority of people that this law was turned against. Why pardon him?
Well, then I guess Jackson will be the first of many asking for a pardon! But in all seriousness, get over it McCain, you lost the election! Sure you may remember Jack Johnson, but that is merely because you are the oldest man alive! Jack Johnson has a place in history he does not need this pardon..... Now. I do not know if you have noticed John, but there is one or two more important things a politician should be worrying about at the moment. Get that straighten, then start talking about pardoning wrongs of a century ago.
I wonder if they ever repealed that ******ed law. There's lots of laws everyone forgets about that are still on the books.
