Tough question Mendoza... Most of the folks are well into their 40's- early 50's by the time their 'sprogs' reach top level... Especially the 'old guys'..

Dempsey father looked quite frail..

In a different catagory, Les darcy's old man appeared fragile.

It would be even stranger if say....Wlad/Vitali's Dad was bigger than them.

For example, I doubt Valuev's Dad is/was taller than him!

I'm shorter than my Dad, but my best mate towers over both his Mum and Dad, he's about 6'1 and his Dad is about 5'5!

i think i remember reading nikolay valuev father was average sized but his grandfather was very large!

Don't think Lennox Lewis' dad was a big guy. There was a story & photo of him in the tabloids years ago.

 

I think Louis's farther was a man of fairly large stature over 200 lbs.
