I'd say the offer is bull anyway. It's extremely poor business sense to offer a green, but offensively very dangerous prospect a title fight.
Wilder could take on much less dangerous opponents already in the top 15 for the same money.
Also does anyone think Wilder would really escape Parker with less Damage that Pov would dish out?
If your gonna get in with an opponent that can dish out that much offense at least make it financially worth it.

My guess is these offers are just being thrown to generate interest, and chatter.....which they are doing.

    I think you're right Matt.

Why would Haymon risk getting his HW cashcow sparked or outboxed by Parker or Hughie???

Wilders chin is still a HUGE "?"

Risky fights for even someone trying to get a title fight, much less someone looking at least an $8 mil payday unification fight with Wlad, or a $6+ mil payday vs Potvetkin

    Wilder isn't a cash cow.

Considering he's gonna get Al Haymon at least $600k for Wlad or Potvetkin, I would call him Haymons cash cow at HW.

Who else brings him that kind of commission?????

He would be getting that money because of Wlad's ability to sell out stadiums and get ratings on tv. That has nothing to do with Wilder. Wlad sold 40k-50k seats vs mandatory opponents before.

Parker a novice was supposed to take on Molina before Wilders team gave him the call... What does that say about Wilder if a fighter who's still developing was set to face the same opponent he made his first defense against? Wilder is a joke.

I started this thread but have been too busy to reply.

The offer could have been **** or non existent but that's not the point really. If Parker turned it down it has to be considered a duck in forum land. Being inexperienced is not a legit excuse. If you take away wilders last 2 fights he's had less professional rounds than Parker. That's right he had 50 odd rounds before he fought for a title.

Im a nzer and a big fan of Parker but I think he would have been a bit foolish to turn it down. If he waits 18-24 month's to challenge for a title than he will be facing a much sterner test than a green Wilder.

Tua only got 1 shot in his whole career, some guys have to work real hard for a crack and he would have it gift wrapped. (He will also have to earn it and become no1 contender fighting top fighters)

Im also a big fan of Wilder and Tyson Fury and believe they have huge room for improvement. Wilder could be a great champ but he's just a pup at the moment. Why couldn't joe have a crack like hughie he's only young and the 0 is overrated he could easily come back later if he's unsuccessful.

    Risk < Reward
