Parker already showing more promise than Tua ever did

    You're Tuarded. Tua looked hopelessly lost against every good fighter he faced. As I said earlier his power bailed him out on occasions, but his level showed even against guys like Izon, Oquendo and Maskaev. Rahman schooled him twice, and if the officials/judges had done their jobs he'd be 2-0 against Tua instead of 0-1-1. Tua has a nice highlight reel and all, but he's extremely overrated by his incredibly annoying and delusional fanbase. Tua didn't win a world title because of his limitations, and that's that. I will say this however. There were some who went on to win world titles during his prime who weren't nearly as good as he was, but this was mostly due to corruption and most educated fans don't view these guys as champions. I'm talking about one man in particular who won a version of the world title in the early 2000s.

    Your'e right though.

    Parker has shown a Tua like chin, and Tua llike power.

    But he has Lewis like size, a Holmesque jab, and a R hand like a Klitschko.

    He boxes in and out, and unless something happens critically to his career, for instance, Solisitis, he'll be climbing his way into a mandate, and into history when he starches whichever, Wlad included, titlist that is place before him.

    Used to think Fury, Price, and Ruiz were the future after Helenius fell apart literally, but Parker has come in and surpassed all of them with the exception of Hughie who still has plenty of time to grow.:think

    He achieved that the year after this thread was made. Unfortunately he didn't live up to his full potential, but I was not wrong.

    Parker an all around better fighter than Tua but has peaked out.

    Lol. This old chestnut. Tua had to do a lot right to deliver heavy punches from his 5ft11 height disadvantage. Shrink Parker down to 5ft11 and he'd get absolutely mauled in the heavies as he wouldn't have the power, or a mechanism of landing it to keep anyone off him.

    I have Tua as the more skilled fighter with a much better career. Parker managed to hold a belt for a few months though so he'll always have that over Tua.

    they are about same level overall
    but Tua had incredible power
    so he would get a few better results against any field
