I believe it's an insult to Parker.

He is a world champion, he is young, hungry, game and obviously wants the fight and believes he wins the fight, he is a dangerous fight for Joshua.

I see the point. It's not meant to be insulting. They see every UK punter convinced Joshua is guaranteed a win. The bookies still need to take money off the punters so making the odds as attractive as possible to bet on Parker is the way to do it. It's not the chance they see Parker has if winning, it's they think they need to set to get UK punters to put money on Parker. It's just a reflection of a partisan crowd.

I’ve got £4 on Parker to KO AJ in round 6 and it returns £473.

    These odds are just crazy!

Parker is food for AJ, I will give him props if he goes the distance. He has a taller fighter style so it won’t be effective against a capable, tall, strong fighter.

It's far from an insult. It's a mathematical concept designed to maximise profits.

If betting reflected the reality of the fighters chances and the money was bet evenly across the two fighters, by fight night the odds would be more even.

The odds now reflect that the huge majority of people will be backing Joshua, most by knockout.

Parker seems a good guy and I’d absolutely love him to KO Mr. Superior race.

Think it’ll be a good fight but sadly can’t see past an AJ win. I think he’s a level above unfortunately.

At those odds I'll definitely be going along with Dwyer and throwing a bit on Parker!

I think 3 to 1 would be a good real world representation here. But even with Joshua's home advantage taken in mind, I can't see more as a 4 to 1 here.

Parker has a chance, certainly if Joshi comes in heavy again. 8 to 1 is overly Bri'ish.

Yep this. Odds are never just a reflection of the actual odds one fighter has over another they are a reflection of the amount of money being put on one fighter over the other. Someone could drop 100 mill on Parker to win and suddenly he'd be the favourite according to the betting odds, that doesn't mean Parker is actually the favourite.
