That's true of most fanboys. It's a common fanboy trait. Like constantly demeaning his wins after predicting him to get destroyed.

Around sixty percent of the forum, and around a hundred percent of Fury fans/Joshua haters, were picking Ngannou to KO Joshua in brutal fashion, so no Joshua isn't getting too much credit. In fact he's not getting enough.

Who came closer to beating Fury of late? Wilder or Ngannou? Considering Wilder got KOed and Ngannou narrowly lost a split decision then calling Wilder a much, much better win is not a fact at all.

Zhang is on paper a much better win than anyone Joshua has fought since Usyk, but if Joshua fights and beats Parker again that's a moot point. At any rate, I hope they do rematch. It's a worthy fight to be made. If not then I'd like to see Zhang or Hrgovic in with Joshua next. Though it looks like both are tied up.

Possibly. I'd still back Joshua to beat him. He's also made massive improvements under Ben Davidson. But yeah let's see it.

I wouldn't say he's taking the easiest possible path by any means. Not the most challenging either. He's taking on decent or well respected fighters of various different styles and beating them with relative ease. It's a textbook comeback. He needs to be stepping up now though. Trouble is most of the top guys right now are tied up with upcoming fights. If we can't get Parker, Zhang, Hrgovic or someone of that ilk then someone like Whyte or Joyce would be acceptable. You kind of have to go with who's available unfortunately.

    Not really

AJ is that rich he could turn it down and not worry financially

    Parker deserves a rematch however

Yeah but I have the feeling if you shaft the Saudis you'll never have a big fight again.

Before his last two fights those 3 loses came in his biggest fights

I don't think he'd need to avoid it all night. I think he'd KO Zhang. He's had more experience with southpaws than almost anyone else in the HW division that I can think of (Martin, Wallin, Usyk) that I don't think anything Zhang does will surprise him. And if he does get caught there's nothing to indicate he won't take the punch well and recoup. But like Parker I'd like to see it. Not a foregone conclusion by any means.

    OK, no problem.

AJ gets equal credit as Fury does or as Fury would get if he had repeated the feat? Sorry, just want to clarify that point.

*Sigh* How can Joshua be ducking Wilder now after they had both agreed to fight each other dependent on winning their last fights in December? There's literally no demand for the fight anymore, even among hardcore Wilder fans. Maybe if the Parker fight had been competitive and a SD with a couple knockdowns or something. But Wilder looked like a broken man and got completely whitewashed. You want that apparent husk to fight Joshua and expect it to be competitive? If so you'd be one of a very small number.

Do a poll and see how many people pick Wilder to win now. I guarantee it'll be overwhelmingly in favour of Joshua, which means no duck in sight. It's really silly to keep pushing this argument at this stage.

It makes it considerably less shameful when you actually win the fight in clear and devastating fashion, don't hold a belt, fight frequently and are essentially a free agent with no obligations to anyone. Again, make a poll if you think they're both as shameful as each other. I think your opinion on this is way off base what the majority of the forum thinks.

Yeah but it's a valid point

Flip it on its head and it's no different from someone wanting to see "the old Parker" when he was in a rut

Outside of the Undisputed fight Parker is the most relevant Heavyweight fighter today with the biggest couple of wins in the Division as well as being the most active. Joshua has also looked good in his last two fights,ok they’re re building fights but he has looked good nobody can deny that. Parker v Joshua II makes a lot of sense as they’re the two prominent fighters outside undisputed however it remains to be seen what is next for both fighters. Parker v Joshua is certainly a fight most fans would like to see again .

If Parker is going to beat AJ he’s going to have to let his hands go and not be so passive. The other side to that is it opens himself up to being stopped himself. I think Parker has improved and I think Lee is a very good trainer but I have to wonder how that Zhang fight would have gone had Zhang been 270 instead of 290? All credit to Parker for winning that fight he deserves a shot at someone once the other fights get sorted out in a few months.

I don't think he is a "passive" fighter at all now

More like a stalking big cat waiting to pounce

Lol, it was a clear 8-4/9-3 Joshua win.
