After AJ knocks out Wilder at Wembley he should put him in a gimp suit with a ball gag and parade him around the streets so the British can throw scones and biscuits at him.

 

Did he say this as he was launching his 90 minute documentary about how he was "cheated" out of victory against AJ?

What are you talking about ? Parker should consider himself super lucky to get that AJ payday after gettin controversial decisions vs Andy Ruiz JR in NZ and vs H.Fury in the UK as well.He is mediocre fighter.

I was actually rooting for Parker against Ruiz Jr until i saw how mediocre he is.Guess the hype that was going on forums about Parker got me at some point.Hoping at least that Parker can get a win vs Whyte now,cant stand this gatekeeper Whyte.Worse than Chisora.

To be fair Parker looked like a killer on the way up, his combination handspeed was something else, the way he took out Botha even though botha was ancient it was still visually spectacular.

Then Kevin Barry and co seemed to get obsessed with proving he was "as big as joshua" and bulked him up which lead to him coming in slightly flabby and looking flat.

Parker should stay around 230-235 tops and concentrate on being aggressive again, hes only 26 so could still do something.

But the excuses have to stop.

It's a good look if you're Rob McCracken and you're trying to move your fighter from the all action brawling style that's taken him through the levels to something sustainable against top opposition.

As for the quotes, Parker is following the first rule of heavyweight boxing PR which states that any fighter can garner headlines by mentioning AJ, ideally in a negative context.

Anthony Joshua has placed himself into a position of real power in the division and when you achieve that and you stand there and dictate how oppertunities come to you. It was never a problem when Floyd did it, never a problem when Ward did it, not a problem when Canelo does it, they dictate where and when and how much and its fine, thats Boxing, A side B side. Their opposition has to bend to their demands to get their chance at belts and money. All they have to make sure to do is to keep clean and adhere to your mandatories. Not that Floyd or Canelo managed to do keep clean.

But when its not somebody based in America that is in the position of Power its not alright and its not OK and its not the done thing.
