    Your thoughts on this matchup?

    From the NZ Herald Newspaper-
"New Zealand’s Joseph Parker has turned his attention to former UFC champion-turned-boxer Francis Ngannou... Speaking on boxing YouTube channel Seconds Out, Parker said Ngannou going the distance with Fury showed his potential in the sport and that he would relish the opportunity to fight him..."

Cool fight. Parker is somehow the 5th ranked contender with Ring so it would immediately position Ngannou in the upper echelon of the rankings if he won.

Parker was walked down and beaten up by a much smaller, lighter punching, less durable and less athletic former MMA fighter in Whyte, so I can't see how Ngannou loses here.

You're right, it might be a cool fight. But I wouldn't say I like to form judgments based on a boxer's pro debut. We really have no idea about the level of opposition he's encountered until you have a better sample survey than one fight...

A 10 round SD loss against Fury is more impressive than anything I've seen Parker do. He nicked a win in NZ against Ruiz, lost to Whyte, lost to Joshua, lost to Joyce and I thought he got a gift against Chisora the first time.

Parker should be an easier night for Ngannou than the dosser. I'd rather see Zhang or Makhmudov against him.

Parker's biggest problem is that Boxing fans worldwide have discarded him as a real contender

He is much younger than the others (age 31), but even so, he is just not taken seriously any more

He needs to push for these type fights or nothing will change

Careful for one wishes for, Parker gets sparked, too open for Francis's uppercut.

couldn't care less. Parker wants the pay day and who could blame him.

Everybody is jumping on ngannous dick like he’s some sort of unbeatable force based on a sparring session with an out of shape Fury. Strange.

This would be a great move for Parker. He would get fairly good money and be at essentially no risk of losing.

    Parker absolutely smokes NGannou.

The fight was a testament to how far Fury has fallen, not to how good NGannou is.

I mean props to Francis, don't get me wrong, but he isn't beating any ranked HW fighters.

Parker isn’t getting this fight. He needs to bite down on his gum shield, get in good shape and beat a top contender. Anyone in the top 10 with a 0 would be a good start.
