Parker is completely irrelevant in the heavyweight boxing scene now....he is the fluffer in the Fury camp.

Ngannou can probably attract a more lucrative fight than someone like Parker

He ISNT a contender!! I seem to remember some folk were drooling at the prospect of the new improved Parker before fighting Joyce....and we all know how that ended up!! Then look at whats happened to Joyce since.....shows u how crap Parker really is

Let's get serious, Ngannou did well against an out of shape, unmotivated, fairly light hitting and complacent Fury. Any in shape, motivated top 10 contender beats him. Parker would win a lopsided points decision.

Parker's young but he's taken a lot of damage in all of those twelve rounders, he's not as young as his age suggests. He's also made a lot of money, been a titlist and lost any hunger and ambition he once had. He knows he's not the best and knows he's not going to win a title again, so the fire isn't there.

Hearn: we'd take that fight (Ngannou) on December 23rd:

    https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/aj-vs-ngannou.711824/page-3#post-22587053

Hearn one day later: “As we start to plan AJ’s next six to 12 months we just want to know if that (Ngannou fight) is an option."

“It’s seven weeks on Saturday, AJ wants to fight on December 23,” he said. “We appreciate it won’t be a mega-fight. He wanted to box three times this year.”

Parker would take the fight seriously and win by UD, Ngannou was good against Fury but I'd still say Parker would take the win...

We don't really know how good Ngannou is but I think he showed enough against Fury to conclude that he won't be a pushover for anybody.

By that I mean someone young and hungry. Zhang and Hrgovic fought each other. Joyce fought Zhang. Parker is fighting bums

    But a zero means untested.

Better to fight someone who's operating at the world level.

Parker has enough money to retire long ago.

He says he has decided to fight on because he still does have some hunger.

We will see. But the Ngannou fight makes more sense for him than most.

Parker can box really good. He had succes against Joe Joyce, but he couldn’t crack him open. I fear Ngannou would eventually walk him down. I know Fury is not the biggest puncher, but those right hands he landed on Ngannou didn’t seem to face him. Joyce skull os cracked now. Who will crack Ngannous coconut?

God fight this for Parker as his career's going nowhere, and a good test for Ngannou to see how legit he really is or if Fury really did turn up with his mind elsewhere.

I'd like to see it. Parker wins. But I'd root for Ngannou.
