Parker is just like Wilder, just licking their lips at AJ securing their financial futures. Why did AJ have to do all the hard work just to feed these guys with Undeserved money.Fuk them, they'll come back running,if i was AJ he can still make money fighting bums, those two can't.I would say Miller/Ortiz in America, then Wilder in the summer.
How can you say Parker is ducking Browne when you know damn well that Browne isn't in the Top 15 of the WBO rankings, therefore cannot be considered a voluntary fight.
Parker's earned everything the hard way, taken tough learning fights, gone on the road when he didn't have to, fought with biased refs and in hostile territory, made no undue demands of anyone. He also continues to challenge himself even though he takes flack at every turn. Even when he was a champ he had no problems heading to the UK to take on a stylistic nightmare in Hughie Fury after he could very easily tell Fury to go eff himself after the shenanigans he played, publicly if not contractually. Then we have Wilder, a totally delusional egoist who refuses to fight anyone remotely dangerous, refuses to leave his home town, and constantly moans and whines on social media about not getting a fair shake while proclaiming himself the greatest HW on the planet while crapping on everyone else, and even stoops to taking shots at past greats like Louis and Tyson. Check yourself please. What you wrote is straight out garbage.
This is hilarious. Parker had been trying to fight Browne since 2014 and Browne has wanted no part of Parker until Parker had a belt... Browne seems like he is being treated like a very possible back up if Joshua doesn't work out but the final call would have to heavily rely on Browne become a valid contender to the WBO belt which is currently isn't. Comparing Parker to Wilder ... Let alone saying Parker is avoiding Browne is so laughable it's bizarre that someone has even said it without sarcasm.
It might be because when Lucas Browne was the WBA champion and Parker asked Browne for a fight, Browne said '****-off' to Parker. LOL now look the roles have reversed and unlike what Browne said to Parker, Parker is actually considering it.
Parker continues to be the most unfairly crapped on fighter in the sport. He's everything fans say they want from a fighter but don't appreciate when they get it.
That's because he's a gentleman and a fearless warrior. It also helps that he knows he beats Browne any day of the week.
Browne had the WBA regular belt not the WBA super belt which klitchko, fury had now joshua has - would like to see parker v browne next only if its not gonna be parker v and KO joshua next!!
At this stage Parker needs a nice easy money earner. He's been grafting for the last few years now and has earned the right to a little downtime in the ring. Whyte or Browne would be ideal for raising his profile, Whyte especially since it allows him to tap into the lucrative UK market and sets up a showdown with Joshua along the line. Bellew would as well, but as a fan of Parker I'd rather he doesn't go down that route, even for one fight.
I think Parker is a bit of a precarious belt holder. A safe fight for him would have to be some Wilder leftovers, Browne is a step above those guys. He beat a very game and rejuvenated Chagaev in his own backyard lest we forget. I'd defo favor him to out work Whyte tho.
Parker's only precarious because he doesn't mind taking on all comers. Since he's not the finished article yet that means sometime down the line he'll get beaten. Browne isn't the man to do it though. I hate to say that any fighter got lucky, but Browne did kinda land a one in a million that night against Chagaev. Prior to that he was getting soundly outboxed and hurt and badly struggling with Chag's handspeed. Parker would devastate him and likely KO him with one of his blitzkrieg combos which is why it's a great fight for him to take.
