been to many big fights myself where the casual crowd do not even turn up for most of the undercard and then pack the arena for the main fight like wembley arena and alexandra palace. alternativley me and my mates used to go to the york hall once a fortnight when you could park right outside at the church opposite and the venue was full of old blokes who new everything. todays boxing crowds seems to be younger and less knowledgable but with more money /also less tribal than 80`s boxing which could get rough .
That's prob due to less football hooligans these days. The events I've gone to recently I've seen plenty of crowd fights. But I think thats an individual case with Liam Williams bringing thousands of his valleys commandos from deep in the caves of Wales.
funny thing now is when i go to the 02 the one people you do not talk to are londerners / ex londerners yes but it is all essex and hertfordshire in my experience. the new foreign influx into london are not boxing fans / at least in my experience.
Why am I always right ??? 100% of the time I claim I know anything I'm right EVERY single time. I would fully expect posters on here trying to spew that I don't know boxing, that's the best compliment one that knows boxing could ever receive on here. Most on here are the equivalent of the bottom of the barrel trolls on YouTube. It's possible one day I might finally be proven wrong, it's got to happen someday, right
