To be honest, O'Connor is as bad as a judge as he is a ref. Marcus McDonnell is definitely a better ref than O'Connor though.
Id prefer to have O'Conner as the ref than a judge actually. He won't be as bad as adalaide bryd in vagas but you will need to win 10-11 rounds to scrap a 7-5 win
Actually fury already has won the fight on o conners score card. Fury us talented and at the very least makes every round close as he's very hard to hit and has a good jab, he will get the close rounds on Terrys card
Let's be honest, from what we have seen from Hughie he isn't a world level challenger and Parker shouldn't be worried about getting the decision as he should beat him easily.
this fight has been the biggest farce in boxing of 2017. I never seen a fight that had so many shenanigans involved from the fight being delayed, moved to the UK, the hometown potential cooking and the circus known as the Fury family.
Tbh I'm not fussed but one thing I can stand about Marcus Mac is the way he screams "staahpboxing!" every single time there is a clinch in the same helium high pitched shrill as his brother Jim.
I'm not sure what's actually worse, O'Connor as a referee or as a judge in a titlefight with a Brit in it? And still a British referee in there, although a much better one.
O'Connor has a history of giving foreign fighters a fair shake on British soil as a judge. I understand the skeptics where the Furys are involved but this fight shouldn't even be competitive if Parker is good enough.
