So disappointed in Hughie, he didn’t need to do that. Felt sorry for Parker, he looked a little surprised with the mouth that Hughie started giving him. He’s only a kid though and someone’s clearly had a word in his ear to try to create something that isn’t there.

I don't know what it is, I recognise that it's a decent fight but I'm not excited about it. I'm looking forward to Ramirez vs Hart, Dorticos vs Kudryashov and Linares vs Campbell much more than this fight.

Think its a great fight...great match of styles. Just ashame they couldn,t really get it off the ground. Youtube and bad ticket sales. Must be galling for big mick when guys like eddie hearn can sell out for pretty average fights.

They should have cut a deal between themselves to get some aggro going. Like it or not thats the business nowadays. No one gets invested in guys that like each other. I dont agree with it but it is what it is. I quietly fancy huey fury for it. Not based on anything hes done in the past. Got a feeling he,ll suddenly be a much harder hitter for this one...just listening to a few things hennesays been saying. I think he,ll make parker hesitant with his new found power. If not tho parker should get to him.

Still think parkers the value bet...getting very good odds for him atm. Looking over their careers parker should be a bigger favourite than he is. Rate fury tho...good allrounder barring the power.

That's solely down to casual fans being thick as **** and believing the hype, and Sky being a bigger platform for boxing than the likes of BoxNation, BT etc...

Yeah, we live in a time when SKY are the dominant boxing broadcaster and they brought us Mayweather-McGregor but not Golovkin-Alvarez.
I had friends asking me if I was coming round to watch the Big Fight (May-Mc), I said No, thanks. But some of them, I doubt they even heard about Golovkin-Alvarez.

I’m favouring Hughie for this too. It’s going to be an eyesore of a fight but I think Hughie will rack up the rounds for a decision win. He’s got very good footwork and a decent jab with height and reach advantage. He’s quite content with winning a fight ugly. Tying up his opponent when they try and work on the inside. He slaps with his punches and thus doesn’t plant his feet leaving himself open to the counter.

I do like Parker, he’s got fast hands but his footwork lets him down. I think he was outclassed by Ruiz at times and got caught far too much. Ruiz was trying to conserve energy cos he was very out of shape. He was throwing the nicer, eye catching shots but just not enough of them to get the decision.

Parker’s gotta bang him out to win this I think.

Meh can't be a great fight with so-so talent on show. Differing styles doesn't mean it's a great "match" of styles either. Average fight... great tho? Nah. Fury mostly stinks out the joint whenever he fights too. Not a fan at all.

The scripted acting not really going to make people fork out for Tubes View PPV tomorrow or buy tickets to watch the event live.

Pikeys behaving like Pikeys and they wonder why mainstream society have no time for them.

Not a big fan of Parker but I hope he knocks the Pikey clean out tomorrow.

As for either Plukey or Spud Pikey or Parker fighting Dealer Dosh, he will wipe them all out without breaking sweat.

Totally agree - never seen the 'fighting man' in an exciting fight.

They are well matched but that doesn't guarantee a good fight- it's a shame that is stuck behind the paywall of YouTube.

The problem is Boxnation is a complete irrelevance to the multi sports subscribers - Sky for most, Sky plus BT for some which now includes Boxnation so not sure many are going to subscribe simply to get the odd PPV free.

Now ITV wanting PPV money and even Tubes View tomorrow for Parker v Pikeys.

The mugs out there will not fork out for it all.

I agree. I think the footwork is the big difference, that alongside the fact I also think Hughie will have more pop in his punches.
