Parker Fury WEIGH IN

Parker will have to get a knockout to get a draw! The UK commission has broken the WBO rules and appointed a UK referee that is pro Fury. Parker should have refused to fight, he should have canceled and had the fight somewhere else,but home cooking can be guaranteed!

 

It’ll be interesting to see how he fights without being hindered by the longterm illness he’s had. It would be quite a statement if he suddenly has more pop in his punches.

Its a hard fight to analyse to be honest. If i was putting money on it would defo be going on parker...the value bet imo.

But looking at the history of the two fighters especially huey...we still dont really know how good he is with the illnesses/injuries etc and still being untested. I rate huey highly with what i ve seen anyway...think hes got the higher skill barrier than parker. He can go up levels whereas parkers pretty much reached his maximum skill level. Hueys a bit similar to a mini tyson fury...but his success will come down to if its as effective being 3 inches shorter and a lot of weight lighter. Tyson is the bigger hitter for my money also. The style is more effective if you can punch hard enough to keep the other man off you. The only other problem with huey is...is his body strong enough to absorb top heavy weight punches. Doesnt look as tho it can. But looks can be deceiving.

If its huey from the rudenko fight...i think he,ll lose tonight probably badly. Rudenko is decent...and huey had an 11 month lay off through illness just prior i think. But it was a hard nights work against a style probably even more basic than parkers. I think the fight will either go down to fury taking a beating and getting stopped without too much trouble. Or a close win on points for him. Where he starts backing parker up as the fight goes on. Got a feeling he,ll be hitting a lot harder this fight also.

Kind of hedging my bets but theres no real way of telling how it,ll go bearing in mind hueys showed the skill levels there but are a lot lower level. Sometimes it translates up the higher level and sometimes it doesnt. I think hueys does tbh. Hes got a lot of different aspects to his game. But they need to be building that body up a bit more to be a serious contender to joshua if he was to win it.

Think Spud Hennesey has forgot that people like watching fights in pubs and cannot see many connecting Laptop to TV screens.

 

Any good sports bar will have smart TVs so no need to connect a laptop.

 

Not many are going to pay Tubes View for this fight though mate hence the Laptop use although don't think many bars will even be bothered with free streaming.

a s*y licence for a pub and ppv prices for pubs are huge. i wonder how you could monitor such a thing for a one off youtube PPV?

£15 for a pub who would normally be paying hundreds or more for a ppv would be literally nothing.

 

Hughie by late stoppage! I know it sounds nuts but Parker is packing timber and could tire late on. I see a stronger Hughie than ever before throwing the kitchen sink at Parker late with the adrenalin pumping before the ref steps in. Parkers team will complain but the stoppage will be justified!

I'm gona buy it, I'm a big fan of the Fury's and I like Hennessy, despite my criticisms of him. I like an underdog!
