No AJ fan can explain this to me. When it comes to the flat fee they say Wilder isn’t popular blah blah. He’s more popular than Parker and Parker got a % so why doesn’t Wilder?!? It’s a pretty simple question, I don’t give a Fck about all that other **** answer the question.
The two are unrelated. Martin got a flat fee and Joshua wasn't even a champ then. Hearn has already said that their team are tired of paying way over the odds for Joshua opponents. Wilder makes LESS money in the US than Parker does in New Zealand ffs. Add to that AJ now holds 3/4 of the belts rather than only 2/4 and it makes sense Wilder gets less, why should HE benefit from Joshua unifying? The offer was fair, AJ isn't Wilder's ****ing pension plan.
So there’s no real reason, okay thank you for clearing that up. Also I’m sure Wilder makes more than you see because they where saying that about Broner and he turned down Eddies money which I can assume is because he makes more money in his current deal
Because Wilder doesn't bring anything to the table and is worth jack diddly squat. No fans, no money, no show, no future options, look who and where Parker is fighting, is Wilder going to fight contenders in the UK after he loses his belt? No. The only way Wilder and his team make money is through fixing fights, corruption and illegal gambling, otherwise they would be in the red because they sure haven't got the slightest clue how to promote. The idea that Wilder is even worth anywhere near 15 million in the fight is beyond laughable, Hearn is just buying Wilders belt from him and doing him a favour to save face.
There's no real reason TO give him a split. His team are ****s and they behave like amateurs. I'm sure if they hadn't come in acting like twats they MAY have been offered a split but Hearn has taken a personal disliking to them so they get what they get. As for your last point maybe wilder is getting some drug money off Haymon, who knows. All I know is they couldn't beat Povetkins people on the purse bid so "dat us dolla" only goes so far.
I think Wilders real opponents are his fans, Wilder seems easily influenced by peoples views and he must read all of his fans rush to his defence and urge him to not take this deal or that offer, but the reality is that time is moving on without him and the train is leaving the station if he is on it or not. So in a couple of years time we might have a situation where Wilder still earns the same as he does now and Joshua continues to amass a fortune. Real fans would urge Wilder to take ANY deal, and then take the crown by force and then from that moment on he can dictate whatever terms he wants while earning much more money.
Its a pretty simple question and you already know the answer. You just want to know if us AJ and Hearn fanboys know it. Well some may disagree but this is why i think they offered the flat fee of 15 Million. Eddie Hearn has crunched the numbers. He has the lowest and highest this fight could generate and he is selling the lowest version to Deontay Wilder and putting his share as a flat fee so once its done anything that comes in thats over that lowest versions is all theirs. We all know what he is doing, you know what he is doing, they know what he is doing. What you really are asking here is why are Joshuas fans not seeming to have a problem with this? The answer to that is quite simple too. Why the **** should we? As British Boxing fans we have spent decades of American Boxing being the mecca for the sport and the envy of the rest of the world, we have seen British and European Boxers, African, Aisian Boxers, anybody not from the American continent, working their way up the ranking to get their chance at glory and then have to take some absolute stinkers of contracts at the hands of all powerful American fighters and promoters to get that chance. Time and time again this has happened and when anybody moaned we got A side this and B side that and America is where its at and money money money. We all learnt to accept that that is the case, its business, modern Boxing, prize fighting. But now all of a sudden this is no longer acceptable, Its a disgusting offer, this all just sounds like what other fight fans were saying all those years ago before they got A side this and StateSide PPV thrown back at them. Its time Wilder and his crew and his fanboys accepted that roles have been reversed on this one. B SIDE.
I was bored honestly, and I wanted to see who would respond quite frankly they need to be in the gym like AJ told them. There suppose to be training for Wilder
Canelo earned a reported 10 million vs mayweather and his 3 fights prior to mayweather were 2.5.2.5 and 1 mill 15 mill to fight AJ for all the belts sounds like a good deal to me and i'm a fan of wilder. http://moneynation.com/how-much-money-does-canelo-alvarez-make/
What do you call the WBC belt he made 6 defenses of? What do you call his #2 world ranking ? Combine the two for Joshua and a win makes him the undisputed , lineal HW Champion. Brings nothing to the table
Because that's what was offered. You're worth what you can command. There's no rule book, no divine right. You argue based on what you bring to the party. The other side decides how much they think you're worth based on what you bring in risk and reward and also what their alternative options would offer if they went down a different route. AJ is bringing nearly all the belts, audience and commercial interest. He has lucrative low risk high reward alternatives. So his position is very strong and Wilder's much less so. This disparity is reflected in the offer.
