Would people be happy if wilder got a % that equated to 15 M's? I am confused why people are so mad at a flat fee over a %, Flat fee or % cash is still cash no matter how you get it. 15 M's is not to be sniffed at that is a huge payday that i am sure is a bigger payday that Parker got with a 30-35% split. I am sure parker would have jumped at a 15m flat fee over his split.

So parker got practically the same payday canelo got vs mayweather, Hearn overpaid parker, Wilder is being offered even more, Honestly i have NO horse in this race, i don't care who win's i just want to see a knock out, however i think wilder is insane for not taking a 15 million dollar payday.

If i was Hearn, after povetkin i would publicly announce a 10 mil offer to Wilder.

I would say this is more than you are worth and you have two options, take it or the offer will be 5 after our next fight.

You are a coat tail riding bum and you are NOT getting a cash out sum from our pockets.

So you take the money or you shut your mouth and stop using us for free publicity.

Then unless he signs the contract id refuse to ever discuss him ever again.

    Simples.

I think Hearn and Joshua are playing hard ball for a reason. You have to remember that Martin and Haymon squeezed Joshua and Hearn for a huge payday, reportedly anything from $5-8-5 million according to various reports.

When you consider Joshua in his next fight vs Molina was only paid £2 mill it's clear Haymon squeezed them for a lot, I doubt Joshua was paid very much for the Martin fight, but it was the price he had to pay to secure a first title. He also gave Haymon 2 options for his next fights, hence why his 2 first defences were against Haymon fighters.

So because of that past history and it's now Joshua and Hearn in the position of strength with all the leverage they are now doing the same back to Haymon and it's Wilder who is the one who's forced to suck it up this time. Also time is on Joshua's side, he can always keep winning and defending his belts and wait until someone else beats Wilder and then they get the WBC belt for far less.

So you want a financial explanation?

    Klitschko brought RTL....
    Parker brought NZ PPV....

    Where is Wilder's financial contribution?

Showtime? Joshua already fights on there......and HBO against Klitschko.
US PPV? Wilder has never been on PPV.

Wilder brings a strap, not finances.
