Yet, still won and was robbed despite a BS KD and almost stopped Whyte in the 12th. So what's that say about Whyte?

It's more he is one dimensional and couldn't get into the fight. I've never seen him beat a decent contender clearly, due to that reason. He can't adapt during fights.

I think he just switches off. Genuinely, I don't think he's the brightest bulb out there.

The word I'm looking for is 'obtuse'.

That is how I would describe Joseph Parker; obtuse.

Just coz you picked the wrong man don’t exaggerate. Parker was overrated on this forum by a lot of you guys and now reality has finally shown what level he really is. He is a level just below Dillian, he is on par with Chisora, Takam, Kownacki etc.

He's not one dimensional he's just been mis-trained(made up word) by Kevin Barry who failed to show him how to throw more than two punches at a time, because between every 1-2 combo Parker would throw in training, Barry would stop to make sure he's tidied up and brushed his comb over forward.

Get the man a new trainer, team him up with someone like Roach who will show him how to sit on his punches, use his speed to pull off fast combos and get out of the pocket whilst fighting in intelligent bursts and he'll be a far better fighter with a killer instinct.

Come on, he almost KO'ed Whyte.

Commentary said he looked disinterested but that's not true, what he was, was gassing out and also at a loss at what to do. He hadn't been taught what to do when his normal tactics don't work.

He's talented but isn't difficult to figure out, you get him onto the back foot he is ineffective due to his lack of counter punching. Parker is only dangerous when he's the aggressor, we saw that tonight, when he had the centre and was leading, he was the one in charge, that even almost got him the KO at the end, but when you push him back, he's lost at sea without a paddle because he has no idea how to turn defence into offence.

I knew that Parker is overrated but didnt expect him to get dropped and to lose on points. He was nowhere to be found between rounds 3 and 10 and thats exactly 8 rounds. He did nothing after that bogus knock down in the second round up to the 11th round.

Makes me wonder why ? Was thinking if the fight is fixed but then after screaming and yelling at him by his corner, Parker somehow found something inside him to fight back in the last two rounds of the fight and almost won simply because Whyte and his low IQ allowed him to get back into the fight instead of running away.Whyte had to give away last rounds but he stood in front of Parker and wanted to brawl.

Overall the round two KD was lame but Whyte still won because for some reason Parker stopped fighting or gassed or whatever happened there and even got dropped later on for real this time.He didnt try to land any right hands from round 3 up to round 11.

Parker made millions from the AJ fight and it might be time to switch team or take a long break or just retire.

Parker is slightly ******ed I think. he's always happy go lucky. even after the fight when he lost, I don't think he even realized or cared that he lost... He was just like "hey Im a big dummy, thanks for coming tonight and watching me get my ass beat"

I think the headclash in Rd 2 that put him down left him concussed, he seemed out on his feet and dazed from that moment on, eyes were closed at times! Corner should have had doctor examine him and pull him out, should of been a no contest.

I think his world’s kind of unravelled a bit over the last 4 months. What I saw in there was a man trying to smile, because he doesn’t know what to do.

Again, he pointed to how this is just the beginning etc etc. Inside he will no doubt be gutted and disillusioned. 4 months ago he probably backed himself as the number 1. Facing this new, unpleasant reality will be brutal.

    @Sephiroth Rising 7

You've just agreed he was robbed.....

So surely his trainer wasn't the problem.

    Stop making excuses.

Parker couldn't handle the rough stuff, or those devastating body shots.

    What are you talking about?

I said the scorecards where always going to be rigged in whites favour regardless of what occurred.

I never argued that Parker should have won the scorecards. Or are you referring to me saying the ref saved Whyte from getting knocked out?
