Say he beats Povetkin this May or Sept (Whenever it may be). Will you accept him then? :think

Noice. Been reserving judgement on Parker so far. Takam's no slouch. No idea how this will go tbf.

Nice fight. Let's see how Parker does. I like the kid and think he has a lot of potential, but his lack of concern for avoiding punches worries me.
Everyone is talking AJ next January like he's gonna cruise through Martin.
They might be in for a shock.

Joshua is NOT the next Lennox lewis, he's the first JOSHUA, who is physically and skillfully the greatest HW I've ever seen.

Between GGG Kovalev and facking joshua, these are the new Era of dominting forces. Very best of their respective divisions and that goes for top of the food chain of the atg.

These fighters are very rare and no one anyone of us even know would or could hang with these facking sickeningly awesome specimens.

    The beasts have arrived.

Takam is a fairly tough for a fringe journeyman if Parker is 1/10th the talent lots on here claim this is a mismatch.

Whyte would beat the **** out of takam 101 out of 90 x, total one sided beatdown. If Parker was to challenge Whyte that would prove smg, bearing the **** out of a heavy bag is not impressive

This fight does worry me a bit here. As I said with the AJ fight, but more so... I think Parker should be viewed as the underdog, but either way whoever wins out of AJ and Martin who has to face the winner of Takam or someone who beats Takam have reason for concern.

Whaaaaaat. I can't believe you just compared Takam and Whyte, let alone making out Whyte is a level above Takam. Takam is better than anything AJ has faced. That may even include Charles Martin.

    Here come the AJ fans?

Watch Povetkin vs Takam. Dude is not a fringe journeyman

Doubt it. There's other boogymen out there that they could concern troll about Wilder over, including this Parker fellow.

If Parker is worth a damn he should slay Takam fairly easy (not having to dig deep). That type of short modern day heavyweight should be made to look obsolete in this new era.

If ANYONE slays Takam easy then they are worth way more than a damn, they are a complete weapon. NO ONE has slayed Takam and Takam has fought at a higher level than Deontay Wilder/Anthony Joshua/Joseph Parker have. Lets watch Wilder vs Povetkin, if Wilder clowns Povetkin then OK - sure.... but I think Povektin is the favourite in the fight against Wilder, and Povetkin vs Takam was a legit close fight.

If anyone hasn't seen Takam vs Povetkin then watch it, not just for research so you actually know who you're talking about here (I get a real impression a LOT of people are just reading boxrec history and drawing conclusions from that) - it's one of the more enjoyable heavyweight fights I've seen in the last few years I reckon. Both guys made an excellent account of themselves.

Yes, Takam-Povetkin was indeed a WAR. And I think Parker-Takam will be a war also. But I think the sheer size and power of Parker will do the damage. Parker is significantly bigger than Povetkin - but he is fast with it.

So I will stick my neck out and say Parker wins it by KO within 6.

    Takam would mow Whyte down.

The one thing Takam lacks vs. Parker is HEIGHT.

    A telling factor.

He (Whyte) might not turn out to be much worse than Parker.

Who is this Whyte character? He sounds like a beast that must be ranked up in the top tier of HWs? The only Whyte fighter I can find is a tubby ex kick boxer that AJ fought...
