Whyte isnt a good fighter, he throws wide open loopy punches and often gases, his power isnt top notch, his uppercut is okay. A past prime delboy rampaged him for 12rounds and delboy is about the same skillwise but has a better chin and gastank.
Im not saying Parker is a destroy far from it, he also lacks power and he misses alot, his accuracy is pisspoor but he is rapid when he can hit a man often enough and whyte does get hit alot, if he chooses to play the possum and circle whyte and throw in a few fast combinations then dominate when whyte tries to box off his backfoot, with this gameplan a late stoppage for parker would be your best bet. I said destroy for views and likes but parker should beat whyte soundly.

Parker will get no decision from matchroom I can guarantee it especially if Hearn is already saying Whyte gets AJ next if he wins. This is boxing it’s too corrupt of a sport, I’m sorry just keeping it 100.

    Sounds plausible.

My initial feeling was that Parker would be too quick and his movement should see him through.

    But...

I just have a nagging feeling that Whyte is on an upward incline in development and what he lacks in polish may be offset by a good chin lots of heart and a home crowd. I've switched back and forth this week and at present I can't call it.

Oh and Delboy on his day is a handful. He was definitely on it against Whyte, I think Parker would also have found him hard work...

It will need to be a convincing performance but I don't see Parker losing this one.

    70/30 Parker UD

Parker has no KOs in 4 fights.

Three of those fights were against fighters who are objectively lower ranked than Whyte is right now.

So objectively speaking Parker doesnt KO Whyte.

Then we add into the equation that he has serious elbow and hand injuries- and clearly isnt punching as freely as he was earlier in his career and Whyte for me is huge favourite to win a UD over 12.

Whyte is on the way up too and Hearn wants an easy April fight for AJ.

Parker is too tentative. I think Whyte wants this more and he's a slightly better boxer.

Why does this destruction lad keep going on about serious elbow and hand injuries? There were elbow issues which were a problem which has been dealt with and wouldn't call them serious so much as problematic, and I've not seen anything about hand injuries, I suspect it's fabricated unless a solid reference is given.

Banter is all good but if people come in and deliberately repeatedly try and spread lies about boxers to damage their career i reckon a ban shouldn't be out of the question. It's very poor form

I have faith in the correct decision being made should it go 12 rounds and i can see it happening for a tough and well earned but comfortable win for Parker with a few promising Whyte moments here and there.

Mate he has hand issues - thats the rumour amongst the boxing fraternity from a numerous sources. I am not "going on about injuries" that dont exist here.

i read that he'd had an elbow operation, don't think I saw mention of his hands.

If he's not fit they've made a bad decision taking this fight. Whyte may not be the best hw out there but he's tough.

I'm not a fan of the most feared man in boxing Whyte, but I'm still yet to be convinced by Parker. He struggled with Ruiz jnr and I haven't seen any improvement since then.

You can argue nobody will look good against Hughie Fury on the run and the fight before was a sparring partner because his opponent pulled out, so he gets a pass for that.

So if whyte wins he gets a rematch with AJ but if Parker wins what does he get?

The public won’t want to see AJ vs Parker again
