    That's a bit crap.

    Is anyone actually interested in making a HW fight at all?

    Fickin ornamental heavyweights for show at the moment.

    I did not suggest the pregnancy issue was cultural.

    Despite negotiations (whatever that involved) in process of being finalised, no fight date had indeed been agreed, no contract signed, meaning there was no fight, it now as you are aware planned for September according to Warren.

    What Andy Lee does regarding his pregnant wife is his business, he does what he wishes or needs to do, he did same when he was still fighting so fair play to him

    Joyce vs Parker is a planned eliminator for a World title shot, why would any contender not wish to go into that with a full camp, and with their trainer able to commit to and focus on the full camp and fight night.

    Joyce in interview sure puts lot of faith in his coach Salals “I am in a better place after doing a training camp with him for sure". So why would Parker forgo his trainer for what will be a very important fight?

    Has the WBO actually ordered this as an eliminator?

    And was the contract ever truly agreed in the first place?

    The truth is - Warren announced the fight BEFORE IT WAS SIGNED.

    Couple of things ...

    Parker is the #2 contender who is supposed to fight the #1 contender Joyce.

    Parker's wife isn't pregnant.

    Parker's trainer, who Joseph has worked with for, what, one fight ... the guy who isn't fighting, his wife is pregnant.

    Parker hasn't fought for the first five months of this year and he apparently won't fight for the next four months ... not until September, when his trainer's baby is two months old.

    Because Parker can't train while Lee's wife is pregnant, but apparently he can start his eight-week camp in July as soon as the baby is born and fight in September.

    News flash, women need help the first two months after a baby is born, which is apparently when Andy Lee and Joseph Parker will start camp.

    That's when father's take leave. When the mother is recovering and the child is a newborn.

    That's when a wife needs help.

    They don't need a husband staring at them for months doing nothing BEFORE the baby is born. And then pack up and leave as soon as the child is born.

    So Parker can't fight while Lee's wife is pregnant ... but as soon as that baby is born and Lee's wife actually needs help, that's when Andy Lee and Parker will go to camp?

    It's an excuse that holds up to zero scrutiny.

    I don't expect we'll see these two guys in the ring.

    So, when Andy Lee was fighting, he refused to work/train for a fight while his wife was pregnant and then left her alone as soon as the child took its first breath?

    Why don't I buy that?

    Oh, I know why, because it's ass-backwards to what every adult male with a wife and a newborn does.

    The first Joseph Parker fight I was actually interested in for YEARS ... I won't make that mistake again.

    It is frustrating, not just for fans but for joyce too, he just cant get that break at the moment and it's a shame, I'd really like to him see him a lot more busier and getting on with his career a bit sharpish this far along.

    I have to question the state of the contracts here. Why did they announce a fight without signed contracts, if that’s what happened?

    I am no fan of Parker, but I will give him the benefit of the doubt that he’s not actually dropping out of the fight for Warren’s stated reason.

    They should just make WBO #1 Joyce vs. WBO #3 Frank Sanchez and move on.

    Parker clearly isn't interested in fighting Joyce, his buddy Fury or the winner of Usyk-Joshua II.

    It's just all about DJing and money laundering for Joe.

    It does look as if Frank jumped the gun. Maybe he figured that the chance to push this at the audience of Fury vs Whyte was too great to pass up, so he announced it before the contracts were signed.

    Who knows, maybe he thought a positive reaction to the announcement would help encourage the parties to reach an agreement? Or create pressure on them to do likewise?

    Yes, have to say when I first saw the reason given I was very frustrated with Parker, because he's probably the biggest disappointment in the division for me. He has it all on paper, but can't seem to put it together. However, in this case it seems like he's been ill served by the promoter jumping the gun on an unsigned fight.

    Hope this does get made however, it would be a feather in the WBO' cap if they get one of the best non title HW fights in recent years as their eliminator for the mandatory slot.

    Still ignoring the fact that Parker and Joyce were both on camera smiling in front of the world at Fury-Whyte with the graphic saying "It's On"?

    Still ignoring the fact Parker said during the live TV interview, "We should be in there fighting tonight."

    Still ignoring the fact Parker is standing there smiling while Warren says they're trying to make it for July.

    Still ignoring that after they posed in the stadium on television they held a face-off before photographers afterward?

    What I can't find is Parker saying, "We should be in there fighting tonight ... BUT ANDY LEE'S WIFE IS PREGNANT SO I CAN'T."

    Warren didn't exactly announce anything without Parker's approval and full cooperation. Parker was in the arena and backstage two separate times promoting the fight.

    Now he can't fight Joyce because Lee's wife is pregnant. Was she not pregnant last month?

    Andy Lee could work Fury's corner that night and spend all training camp with Fury, and Parker could train with Fury during Fury's camp, but Lee and Parker can't hold a camp RIGHT NOW because Andy's wife is pregnant?

    But they can as soon as Lee's new baby takes a breath?

    They're full of crap.

    I hope Joe is better at telling lies when he's caught moving METH MONEY ... because he sucks at making stuff up right now.
