Meehan/Brewster was one of the greatest heavyweight fights of the last 15 years... If you haven't seen it go watch ASAP.

AJ would knock Parker spark out. Too looping, too crude, too slow. Mismatch.

That could be true, hard to say really. Kali looked like more of a live body and in better shape to me. He definitely isn't as his best, agreed there - but it's hard to say he was or wasn't as dangerous as Johnson. He was throwing some of his punches with a bit of speed before Parker started cutting him down, there was definitely a certain amount of Parker just making him look bad in the way a great fighter can make a good fighter look.

Looping and crude at times but too slow = hasn't watched a fight..

One thing many fail to realise is Parker is 23 AJ is 27. Where will Parker be in 4 years or compare him to AJ 4 years ago not now..

^ exactly. He has time to grow, this is a very exciting place for him to already be and there is a LONG road ahead.

Noticed a few of Parker's punches came up short, which made me noticed his abnormally short arms

He's 6'4 with a 76 inch reach, when he fights some of the lengthier (young) boxers like Wilder, Fury, or jennings, he'll have a tough time trying to establish his jab and get his range down

    Watched the fight.

    Loved what I saw.

There was a blonde ring girl who I crawl over broken glass just to hear her fart through the phone.

And I am really liking Jeff Horn. Up and coming but at age 27 I hope he hasnt left it too late.

For real! Parker has about the quickest hands going in the HW division right now.
His combination punching is a blur.

Meehan was shot but in very good shape. He definitely did not want to lose in front of his son, and he was on a 5 win streak.

Impressive win but Meehan is still 45. Parker has to up the ante a bit.

^ROFL what is this the NZ/Down Under crew is coming out when someone disses their fighter? You clowns remind me of the Odlanier Solis Cubans who jumped on this board hyping their man. Then he got sparked out and they all disappeared.

I have no idea where Parker will go but what I've seen of him is a guy with TONS of holes in his defense. He punches wide, uses zero head movement and simply looks slow on his feet.

He can look good against the Meehans of the world, but its obvious to me that his defense will make him stop punches with his face rather than avoiding him. It can work well if he has an ATG level chin, but excuse me for being skeptical: right now we have to assume he's a brutal KO waiting to happen.

Look at how AJ is fighting. His whole game is avoiding punches and countering opponents. Yes, AJ's chin is soft, but I see he can take it out of harm's way. Parker can't (or doesn't want to).

I thought it was the norm for the masses to get over excited about their "great hope".

The Yanks' have Wilder, the poms' have AJ the Kiwis' have Parker. After every fight you pretty much see the same posts but the names are changes, both for and against..

Shame if the worm didn't quit on the stool he would have been the yanks' hype job!!!
