We'll see what's next for Usyk after Dubois. Won't mind if he retires as the undisputed champion, first since Rocky Marciano.
I,m afraid thats exactly what will happen . He will try to retire as an undisputed undefeated champion and try to make a GOAT story out of it , hoping his fans forget that ( if he really does it that way ) he will have just 9 hw fights against 5 opponents on his counter as well forget that he avoided to fight dangerous opponents ( like kabayel ) where he only could to keep his "0" on the statistic. I respect usyk but he should never be allowed to fight for undisputed with such a slim hw legacy because it takes the magic out of the undisputed title .
Undisputed title is a joke anyway. More politics based than merit based. And if he takes Dubois instead of Kabayel and retires, it doesn't mean he avoided Agit. DDD is a title holder and is ranked above both Parker and Kabayel. He will be taking on the biggest challenge according to the consensus. You can't "avoid" someone and take on someone who is generally viewed as better.
Parker vs Usyk next, thats the fight fans want to see. Dubois vs Kabayel as an eliminator for the undisputed. Winers meet up next.
I agree but he knows dubois style and most probably can handle him while kabayels fearless mind and his body attacks are a complicated setup for usyk .
If Usyk took Kabayel people would say he ducked Dubois who had a belt and knocked him out once (lol). Let's face it - DDD, Parker and Kabayel are all worthy contenders, and whomever Usyk choses, we can't be mad at him.
Doubtful. He's already conclusively beaten Dubios. If anything, him REQUESTING the rematch indicates he's ducking the other contenders, because he's taking a fight he knows he'll comfortably win.
You have fools on this very forum saying Dubois knocked Usyk out, lol. Others, not that level of insane, say the victory was controversial and DDD can win this time. Brits won't stop coming with the excuses until Usyk beats Dubois again. Taking the number 1 rated contender who is also a title holder isn't ducking.
