I laughed when I read Peter claim that. Surely they had enough time to come up with something better than that?

I disappointed because I don't like any fights being cancelled but I didn't see the rush, HF is 23 years old, hasn't fought for a year and his best win is Fred Kassi.

Personally I'd like to see Hughie go down the domestic route, a couple of solid domestic fights and then move on to European level then start looking at world title shots.

Fury wouldn't give Bellew the pension pay out he is looking for.Fury who didn't deserve a shot at Parker in the first place walked away from a million and a quarter. He has no credibility what so ever. His replacement is getting around 200,000 and will probably put up a better fight! Parker owes Fury Jack Sh*t!

Love this idea. Would be a terribly one-sided fight against Hughie, AJ would give him an absolute pasting and knock him into next week. But what a way to sell Joshua vs Tyson Fury. But the drama surrounding these events would be huge if Fury was able to get in shape. Wouldnt happen though.

I'm sure people used to talk about Tyson Fury a few years ago in a similar vein has to how they talk about Hughie Fury now.

I'm not gonna defend the lad, I'm baffled has to why he pulled out of the fight with Parker. I'm also baffled by the career path they have set out for Hughie.

He will never be palatable to the British public but i strongly believe he will be a future world champion. A lot of people on here don't rate him at all which I'm surprised at considering it's a boxing forum full of people who really appreciate the subtleties of the craft. He's a 22 year-old kid who's been fighting men (officially) since he was 18 but has probably been fighting men (unofficially) since he was a lot younger than that. He's skilful for a big lad and a replica (in style) of his cousin.

I agree and disagree, as a boxing fan I think his footwork is outstanding when comparing it to the other contenders but his team seem very reluctant to let him off the leash. Is their a reason why he has avoided the likes of Whytte, Joshua and Wilder etc. I think Hughie is good, in fact when he first turned over I said he would be better than Tyson but I'm losing interest.

I agree, I'm losing interest too. It's like they've decided they're not gonna rush him and build him up very gradually. I wonder if it's a father's influence cos Eubank imo could be accused of doing the same thing with his lad.

In terms of skill though, he's a very dangerous fight for low reward for any top heavyweight at the moment.

True, I hope he gets some good fights. Why not get him in with the likes of Brezeale or Amir Mansour.

My script plays out that AJ floors Phoeey Fury 4 times in clownish fashion and it ends in a brutal second round beatdown.....as phoeey fury is on the floor, Tyson fury steps in the ring and cradles phoeeys head like its rocky with appolo creed who has been beaten by Ivan Drago....than Tyson fury gets up and there is a silent staredown with AJ where fury has the same face rocky had staring at Drago...........

It was a cynical pull out of a fight that I dont think the Fury's ever really wanted. So the question remains why the F sign for a fight you never wanted, and then wait 2 weeks before the fight to pull out? That is some real bad karma and a really bad bad way to treat another human being.

This cynical pull out coming just after Tyson Fury messed Wlad around for a year with 2 fake injury pull outs, has made the Furys toxic. British fans are really losing interest in them now and are very angry.

I am one of those who was fully supportive of Tyson Fury and could not give a F what he said about the Jews and women. Its all about what he was doing in the ring, but he lost me with those 2 fake injury pull outs and now his cousin is doing the same thing.

Do not want to rush him, but sign to fight for a HW title against an elite contender, and then pull out with a fake injury.

The whole strategy is not at all logical, even if you take into account the failed PED tests.

He may have got away with this had his cousin not done the same thing twice in the biggest HW match in boxing at the time.
