Park probs isn't Even in his prime yet.

His biggest issue is getting into range against the good big guys.

He may need to change coaches to learn this

I'm not so sure about Ruiz doing worse than Joe to be honest. I'd like to see Ruiz get a shot at AJ. Might be a good match up.

He is a better boxer than David Tua and can come again. Tough boy.

This guy ain’t a fan if you want your guy to retire after his first loss, which he competed well in.

Ridiculous statement. Win a few more fights and get a Wilder or AJ pay day again.

    I think he beats wilder.

Lucas Browne is tailor made for Parker , its a shame he got knocked out last week otherwise it was the perfect fight for Parker to shine and get K.O and also Browne was going to accept for very little money so easy to make it as well.

Both coming off losses so still might happen in the future i guess , Browne has zero defence and will get sparked out brutally again.

Not really. Parker is still very young. And some of the top contenders like Ortiz, Povetkin and Pulev are in the last days of their careers. So he has the chance to shine again in the future.

Who sends his KID CHAMPION into the ring with a MAN CHAMPION while at a 2+" height disadvantage and 6+" reach disadvantage under the instruction to make it a tactical battle from the outside.

I know the ref had no clue what called for a break on the inside, but I heard nothing from Barry or Joey P that they were denied thier plan to pressure AJ inside where Joey Ps faster and shorter punches and more durable chin, better stamina and better body composition were his best chance of the upset.

I feel like Barry just doesn't know what needs done with a multi tool fighter.

So predictable.... try to oubox the punchers and steamroll the slow lanky fighters.

Joey needs to get to the States.

    Also, needs a new promoter.

    K2 or....uuuuggghhhh.... Oscar.

Joey P and Abel or Robert G would be holding up the Titles in less than 2 yrs

I guarantee his trainer wouldn't send him in there trying to fight like Hughie as Barry did last night.
Ruiz Jr would be in Joshua's chest banging on his ribs for every second he's inside Joshua's R hand

Povetkin has the same problem, maybe worse. I think Barry's done a wicked job with Parker, and Higgins. Stick with them boys and make a few tweaks, I admire them as a unit. They are on the level

Yep Povetkin has the same issue even against Price.

AJ would jab his head odd all night, Wilder too.

With Parker I don't think he is getting any better and he should be given his age.

After fees and taxes how much is left from half a million? I guess it all depends on how smart he gets with the money he made

He would land Povetkin, but it wouldn't be regular enough, they are too long for him

I know you will get some stick for this and of course he won't, but you are right. He should be comfortable for life and he'll never have to buy a drink in Auckland should he need one. He could sail around bay of islands for the rest of his life and never take another punch, doesn't sound so bad to me.

To be honest I think the same about Joshua, he should go for undisputed and maybe take on fury as his last great challenge, but then I think he would be better advised retiring to enjoy his wealth and fame rather than continually chasing 'legacy'.

Too many boxers leave it too late and the damage they take in their last fights is often the difference between a long and healthy retirement and an early demise or a long battle with ill health. I often think about this when I see David Haye, who was adamant that he was finishing at 30 and yet is still chasing fools gold years later with a body that's increasingly telling him to stop.

As a boxing fan, selfishly, I like watching these guys fight,if I were a family member I'd be wanting them to call t a day as soon as they could...
