Hahaha picking apart Parkers training based on a 10 second clip lol. Let's take this video for what it is. Parker is in fantastic shape and coming in light and fast

No, not picking apart everything. Just wishing he would keep his chin covered a bit more, simply an observation. He's clearly got some really good stuff going on there but that guard has been a huge vulnerability for him.

I think there will be a moment in this fight when Parker has Joshua in trouble. He has to step on the gas when and if that occurs. WK had Joshua and let him recover, albeit Joshua held a lot and spat out his shield for time, but he thought Joshua was spent and he has wasnt.

This is my concern. The ref for whatever reason helped let Joshua off, yet on the flipside launched in to finish the fight when Klitschko was hurt... let alone how the Takam fight was won.

I hope the ref stays objective in this fight and isn't treating it like "Stop the fight before Parker gets hurt because Joshua's winning anyway" and treats it like "There are two title holders unifying here, lets keep it even and make sure everyone keeps their health while also getting to have a proper fight."

They obviously just made a short video for youtube, maybe they were deliberately keeping hands low cause they knew Joshua would see.

It was disgusting how quick the ref was willing to jump in to stop the fight when Wlad was in trouble.

You notice the last barrage of punches he throws never land clean and they don't have as the ref only needs any excuse to promote a 100% ko record on his behalf to preserve the myth that he has unreal power even though he has never knocked out anyone with one punch alone.

The Wlad stoppage was perfectly timed. Wlad was finished and was in danger of getting seriously hurt. The Takam stoppage was BS of course, though Takam was way down on the cards at the time. Still, it would have been nice to see if he could have made it to the final bell, or even turned the tide somewhat in the last few rounds.

Parker is one of those guys who looks great smashing a heavy bag or doing pad work and sometimes looks great in the ring doing these things against average opponents. When he faces upper level guys he loses rounds and sometimes has to dig deep.

But AJ is not average, AJ is not an upper opponent, AJ is the topdog atm. Parker will be in his backyard. When push comes to shove can Parker keep up?

In all honesty, I don't think he can or will.

Still going with gradual beatdown and late stoppage for AJ, similar to the Takam fight but without a poor stoppage (please) and Parker will actually win a round or 2.

Regarding the Parker footage, it doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. Parker has always had fast and sharp hands, even when he was in the 240s for his last few fights, and I don't expect that to change. Where he needed to work on was his set up and movement. He's got a very snappy jab, but he doesn't implement it properly to open up his opponent for power shots. Worse, he even gives his opponent a split-second warning of his attacks by flicking it out every time he goes on the offensive. It's why relatively poor fighters have been able to counter him so easily. His movement and use of angles have also been poor for far too long. Just far too much predictability and going backwards in straight lines when pressured. It's frustrating because he has all the ability to implement a much more sophisticated form of fighting but doesn't seem to have the brain or right training to do so.

You are well within your right to believe the Wlad stoppage was called correctly as no one would want to see a 40 year old take needless punishment.

However if you were to watch closely again during those last moments of the fight, you'd see that Wlad still had his wits about him and was leaning back moving his head while on the ropes with Joshua missing most of the last punches he threw.

Keep in mind this is the same country where referee's have carried semi unconscious British fighters back to their corner when they are champion.

Yet another ESB Internet tough guy.

Let me guess you box as a pro right? Just like that moderator who claims he was before his glistening career was cut short by some injury

nope, just train every tuesday. your dismissive argument based on lack of personal experience is annoying and biased, hence my comment. "Punches weren't landing clean" when you are already hurt and tired they still do damage.
