Wilder is awful and the announcers sound like wrestling announcers the way they try to pump him up. It's frigging embarrassing!! Total JOKE
Parker crushes Wilder. Potvetkin crushes Wilder. Joshua crushes Wilder. Browne crushes Wilder. Whoever lands first between Wilder and Ortiz wins.
Arreola quit because he was out of gas as usual...................When will Wilder fight a real fighter? When will Fox, ESPN tell the truth about Povetkin? Povetkin has been proven clean............Povetkin was cheated..................
Parker has never faced an opponent who can move and can use a jab at the same time........ Id like to see that matchup one day maybe, but was hoping Parker would face mobile fighters who can box and punch too so he can learn how to deal with the better taller fighters. :rasta
Yes Arreola could have gone on but it was clear by then he was exhausted. He had that flurry midway in the 3rd and he was gassed for the next 30 seconds and by the last few rounds his punches had nothing on them which is why Wilder was messing around on the inside, he knew Arreola had nothing left and was totally spent. Arreola's poor discipline cost him, he simply wasn't able to fight for the full 3 mins at a decent pace. As for Wilder, I don't expect him to fight anyone decent this year. I'm dubious about the injury might just be a way of putting off Povetkin until Joshua has dealt with Stiverne and they can both unify in 2017.
I hope Joshua/Parker gets made early in 2017 but I'm not certain it will. Joshua and Wilder may try and unify instead and by doing that put off their mandatories. Personally I'd prefer both men to face their mandatories and if both win then we have an even better unification fight. And even if one of them loses or both I'd be more than and happy with Parker/Povetkin, Joshua/Povetkin or Parker/Wilder.
IBF will not let Joshua do that They must start negotiations by Nov 9 and fight by Jan 9 Wilder will not be ready and Parker is preferred anyway
